Great location to explore the Eden Valley from, with the village pub within walking distance and serving food. Host very friendly and communicative. Place was perfect for us - all the necessary amenities and felt private.

We had a one night stay on our way back from the Highlands. The decor was beautiful, the furniture comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything we needed and more. Helen was extremely friendly and helpful, she was proactive in letting us know we could check in a little earlier and even popped a pint of milk in the fridge so we could have a much needed brew on arrival, which was a lovely touch!

Really recommend staying here. Incredible value for money and so easy to get about and visit other part of the Lakes. Very cosy, plenty of room, dog friendly and it was perfect for ourselves, our dogs and our 4month old. Thank you so much for having us!!!

We had a fabulous stay at the Bothy for Christmas and New Year - the perfect place if you're looking for a quiet cosy place to relax and unwind. John and Julia are both lovely and super friendly, and were incredibly patient with our 6 month old puppy, helping us enjoy our first trip away with the dog and putting our minds at ease. It's a fabulous location and only a short distance from the lakes, was absolutely gorgeous!
