Beautiful place, has everything you need, better stocked kitchen than anyplace we have ever been at.. Clean, decorated, everything you need. Comfortable furniture, great location, we like the secluded area away from the busy part of the town. We will definitely return

We loved staying here and Steve was a great host! There were some plumping issues (something apparently the city has struggled with since the hurricane) but Steve was so responsive and helpful and had it fixed in no time! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing beach weekend!

We have stayed at Terry and Katherine’s place before and as always WE ENJOYED!!! The beach front is awesome. The deck is PERFECT for watching boats, people, but for us, it was the sunrises!! The house isn’t cluttered and there’s lots of room in the living area! They allow my fur baby too which was amazing! The master bedroom was large and bed was comfy!! The kitchen had all we needed and overall we enjoyed their place! Definitely recommend to stay here! You just can’t beat the view!

Gina was a great host and didn’t require a ton of mandatory cleaning by guests like many other hosts have. With that, we actually felt compelled to do more in an effort to treat the place like our own. The location is literally beach side and right next to an entry. The hammocks were great to have at the bottom level and we the beach items were a great addition. The place was cozy and had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vincent’s beach house. The beach is literally a few steps outside the front door. All the bedrooms and the livingroom have decks with a nice view of the beach. We stayed during Spring Break. The beach is private access so it was peaceful and was not crowded. The kids loved the hideaway spot at the top floor and made it their own little space. This place has a lot of space. The kitchen is fully equipped with a huge refrigerator. I would definitely stay again.

Haley is a great host! She has been quick to respond to our questions and very accommodating. The house was well equipped, very comfortable, and the proximity to the beach was great! This is definitely on our list of "would do it again".

Unplugged was everything I hoped for. Peaceful, quiet, great views of/easy access to water. The hosts are so thoughtful having things available to do indoors ie: movies, puzzles and mindful coloring books and the best equipped kitchen that included a sharp chefs knife which I really appreciated! If I return to Matagorda I will definitely be staying here again -but longer! 😊

We had a very enjoyable 4 days in Taras beautiful home. Tara did a tremendous job she thought of everything that a family would need including the above ground pool/toys /beach. Very clean and relaxing. We felt very comfortable and safe. We will definitely go back.

This place was amazing! Such a great location to be able to walk to both the beach and to restaurants near by. We even got a chance to be able to walk to the mini golf and go karts location. We were very excited to stay here, and it exceeded our expectations. Thank you for the great stay!

Jonathan was an amazing host even thought some stuff came up, he was 100% responsive and attentive, the house was absolutely beautiful, we will definitely book the place again in the future!

we had a great stay! the house and yard was beyond what we expected. everything was clean, there was tons of seating, especially in the yard. it was just two of us and a dog this time (the yard is fenced and they even provided poop bags) but we are already planning to come back for a family vacation. we can't wait to bring our friends and family back for a fun beach/pool vacation. A few things that stood out: right at check in we got a message that the ice maker was broken, which was not a big deal, but someone immediately showed up with a giant bag of ice! They also provided things like teas, sweetener, salt, pepper and oil to help with cooking, and the grill on the patio was in good shape. Overall we had a great day and it was tons of value for the price.

Absolutely loved our stay, we will be booking this location again in the future! The outdoor entertainment area was PERFECT, we were out there every night. Close to the beach access and restaurants in town, couldn't have picked a better place!

The rental was great. The owners were super responsive and friendly. The place was just the right size for us and super clean. We spent lots of time on the cozy covered porch and enjoyed the breezy days and evenings. The short walk to the beach was easy and felt safe. We were glad we brought blankets because it got chilly! We would definitely stay again!

My family had a wonderful vacation! Everyone said this was their favorite beach trip. The layout of the house was perfect, we loved the huge island in the kitchen for preparing meals and eating, the view from the porch was my favorite part and the house was very clean. Most of the time, we had our own private beach! It was so relaxing.

The house is gorgeous and it has the most amazing views. Sunrise from the master bedroom windows was the highlight of each morning. The owners were helpful and very responsive - we had one or two small issues at checkin that they handled immediately. We loved the closet of board games! The area is quiet and there is only one grocery store but it had everything we needed. We didn’t go to any local restaurants. A few things to consider: the listing says 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This is true but one bedroom and bathroom is in an apartment downstairs so it wouldn’t be good for kids. It is a longer walk than it appears to the beach. It was fine for me and the kids but would’ve been way too far for someone with mobility challenges. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I had hoped (no real glass wine glasses, only plastic, not a lot of silverware, short supply of spatulas etc). Finally, there were no amenities for the beach, no buckets or shovels, no beach towels, so pack your own.

The mermaid Manor was everything me and my family expected and more . Very peaceful private and spacious home. Loved the fact that the home was right behind the beach. The host was very responsive. Quick to reply back to any questions I had and making sure we enjoyed are stay . Perfect getaway for the entire family.

We had a fabulous time at the Dunes! We’ve been to several AirBnB’s across the country, and our whole family really enjoyed this one. It was easy, fun, convenient, and right on the water! The hot tub and amenities were top notch. Hosts were responsive, kind and helpful. Sleeping was comfortable. The beach access is a differentiator! Incredible being able to walk right out to your own beach. We would come back!

Place was beautiful. View is amazing and the spa was great. Has everything you need with extra. Very well stocked.

The house was perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked and the beach front location can't be beat. Cathy was great to work with and very proactive in her communication. We would definitely rent again.

Beautiful space, very nice to hang out with the friends. I saw previous reviews saying the fridge was small, but they must of changed, because it's a full sized fridge with a mini fridge upstairs. Hà was easy to communicate with and helpful. The bbq was charcoal not gas. Rooms were nice, kitchen had plenty of items and a lot of fun random DVDs. The beach is easily accessible, and it was a pleasure to sit on the deck. Nice views
