What a beautiful retreat in the country. Very peaceful and restorative. Wonderful extensive trails on property - well groomed, marked and cared for. We enjoyed both walking and mountain biking on the trails. Sauna was amazing - loved seeing the trees through the sauna window while sauna bathing in the day, and the stars through the window in the evening. Enjoyed the outdoor gazebo swing in the evening with the ambience lights around the gazebo. Home is welcoming and well set up. Kitchen is a lovely space. Compost toilet was a nice feature (no smell, and appreciated this eco friendly system that reduces water usage). Thank you for the opportunity to stay at Toadhall - a true haven.

The attention to detail in making the visit home like is amazing, from puzzles and games and super comfortable chairs in the living room to condiments and spices in the kitchen we had everything we needed. Alexis responded to any query quickly and instructions were clear. The cottage is spacious with a lovely yard. Great for a family but also a peaceful getaway for us. I would highly recommend this property and will certainly try to book it again for our next trip west.

Sharon’s cabin was a perfect place for a getaway for 2. It was extremely clean with lots of towels and bedding. We appreciated the tasteful decorating. The fruit bowl added a nice touch

We were up ice fishing, location worked great for us. There is also a general store very close for minnows and any forgotten supplies.
