Highly recommend Joanna's River House. Absolutely beautiful location and the house is very modern and immaculate with everything you could possibly want/need. Loved the layout and the many outdoor areas including the washing line outside the laundry! We loved the spa with the coloured lights and we enjoyed the peaceful view while eating dinner and breakfast on the terrace. Accessible down to the river. The best airbnb on our NZ south island road trip! Thanks Joanna!

Spacious, comfortable, very well appointed & away from hustle & bustle of town which suits us. Use of the washer & dryer particularly handy. We did not want for anything. Thank you Sharyn for blessing us with your gift of hospitality!

Heavenly! One of our favorite stays while in NZ! I will NEVER forget stargazing in the wood burning hot tub!! Hard to leave !

We haven’t been up ro this trip a huge Airbnb users. This place was remote and a little hard to find. Once we got there we found we made a big mistake because I only booked 1 night. That place deserves no less than 2 night or as long as Jude will let you stay. Sunsets to die for and a huge beach to yourself. Hard travel all over New Zealand and turn to noise off there. Oh and the ocean noise kept us up all night. Ha. Great digs

stunning place, had to keep pinching ourselves regarding the views from the balcony. Driveway was steap but easily manageable and the west coast was such an amazing place to visit! id recommend this home for anyone wanting to take the trip. Great location. Well kept and completely unique, we loved the balcony!!

We loved our stay at Sue and David's place. The place was very welcoming, clean with very comfortable beds. The view from the lounge to the estuary was always changing with the tides. We got to watch a white heron while we were there.

We spent two nights at Claire’s place and was super nice! Kids loved to walk to the beach and enjoy some sun!

We arrived at The Yurt from a really hectic previous week - we relaxed almost immediately. I had read all the reviews before coming but that still doesn’t prepare you for how wonderful it is! Too many things to highlight, but here is a taste - the hammock, the comfy chairs, the view, the sound of the waves, the stars, the lovely shower room, the walks from the yurt all the way to the fur seals, the weka, lovely meal at the Star. Very glad we had booked two nights - we also had glorious weather. Ray sent very helpful and friendly messages but left us in peace. Just perfect!
