Monthly Rentals in Tchefuncte River

This was an amazing place to stay! I’d recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere peaceful, quiet, clean, and everything else to make you feel at home during your stay! It’s about an hour from New Orleans so you avoid all that traffic while still being close enough to all the attractions in the big city. I will definitely be back if I’m in town and it’s available!

My team and I stayed here for Mardi Gras weekend. The price was perfect and the Airbnb exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect place to act as a homebase for sleeping and doing some light cooking while we explored New Orleans. I cannot exaggerate how great of a host Mildred is. She was extremely accommodating to the team and is the reason we were able to have this trip at all. We ran late for check out and she adjusted the time no questions asked. This airbnb is about an hour from the city and close to other, small beautiful towns. From here, we drove to the lakefront, the city, and local restaurants. We went on a jog in the morning, and the neighborhood was safe and lovely. We had no hesitations about leaving our equipment in the van or airbnb. There is also a small fire pit we used, and the host made sure there was some wood available without us asking. The dishwasher was a great help. We slept great. This is a top-tier place to stay for a small group! I cannot say enough!

The house was very cozy and cute. Exactly what we expected and would definitely stay again. The host was very quick to respond to everything and made sure that everything was as we expected. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

We were in town for a wedding. The location felt very safe and “homey” and was within driving distance to all the amenities we wanted to see. I would highly recommend for families or anyone visiting the area.
