Really cool place to stay. The view from the room is incredibely beautiful! It is little bit far from beach, but not so bad. The breakfast was really delicious and for a reasonoble price - not included. I really recommend to stay here, because the place and the room is so cool.

We recently stayed at this stunning property with our toddler and infant, and words can’t fully capture how incredible it was. The place is not only beautiful but meticulously maintained, offering an extremely comfortable and clean environment. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and every room we stayed in had a perfect sea view. Traveling with small children can sometimes be challenging, but this place made it so easy. It’s incredibly safe and child-friendly, which made our experience even better. The staff was beyond courteous and helpful, going out of their way to assist us whenever needed. Myself and my family spent five nights in August Beach House. It was the perfect place to chill out for a few days with everyone and surf. The house is right on the beach and the back garden gate opens onto the beach where there there are plentiful surf rental shacks and surf lessons to be had. The house benefits from a large shaded private garden and lots of communal space inside. Each bedroom has AC and an en-suite. There is also a private pool which was great for the kids and to cool down from the mid afternoon heat. Weligama is a good beginner location for surfing and I imagine there are more advanced surfing locations nearby and lots of bars and restaurants on the main strip although we tended to go to the same one or two places. Special mention to the August Beach House staff who made breakfast and did laundry, we did not want them to clean our bedrooms each day but they offered to do so! All round perfect house for chilling out and surfing on your doorstep.

It's a nice place. Chandi and her son are wery helpful and friendly. You can see and hear a lot of animals. But also the street you can hear. The wonderful beach is a short walk away

We had a really nice relaxing stay at the villa which was absolutely stunning! We wanted to be in the town of Weligama close to the hustle and bustle and the beach, which we absolutely were however, we felt very secluded and private in the villa, and very secure! There are a few cute restaurants within walking distance (flow cafe right next door, layback, the local fish market with beach restaurants right across the street, etc.) as well as shops, etc. you could walk down the beach to the surf schools leading up to the area with more beach bars etc. The walk back home from Weligama beach towards the villa via the beach at sunset was our favorite way to end the day. We would definitely recommend staying here, the villa was amazing! Jalal was very helpful and responsive and also arranged our transportation to the airport.

Best place in Ahangama close enough to everything while still being in your little relaxing nook of heaven. The staff is super nice and attentive to our needs. Cook is amazing we were not planning on it but as our stayed continued we had more and more meals at the house. The pool area and garden are gorgeous and relaxing and is really the highlight!

Malli's guesthouse is a jewelry hidden in a residential neightbordhood. The perfect option to rest and very well located to move everywhere you want to go. You can rich koggala beach by walking ;) He and his family offer the most delicious Sri Lanka traditional food. If you need transport they also offer Tuk Tuk and bike with convenient price.

5 min from the beach and up in the jungle, it’s the best place to stay if your looking for the calm. Breakfast and Yoga sessions were great. The staff very kind. I recommend 100%.

We had a wonderful time at Surf Lodge! The location is perfect, the onsite cafe has really delicious food and drinks, and the apartment was exactly what we hoped for! Chethana is a fantastic host, too! Really friendly, proactive and attentive to his guests. Will absolutely stay here again.

We were incredibly lucky to choose this villa. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay and even more! A beautiful courtyard, a nice pool, a cozy room and all the necessary amenities! And also the most uncrowded and stunning beach next to the villa! But most of all we were captivated by the care and hospitality of the Duminda’s family! The first visit to Sri Lanka turned out to be unforgettable. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and the parting gift conquered our hearts!😍

Despite an address issue due to Google map, we really enjoyed our stay. we though we would be inland at the back of Hiriketiya beach. we were instead nicely secluded by a rocky little cove, no tourists except for us... Ranjith was very helpful in getting to us by scooter and paying for a tuk-tuk to repatriate us to his property. we were welcomed with a breath taking view and drinks... the room, if small is comfortable and clean. Its size is well compensated by a outside shaded area were you can enjoy peace and relaxation. breakfast was one of the best we had with airbnb host. highly recommended for nature lovers who want to stand out out of the way of mass tourism.

We slept three nights in this wonderful house and it was amazing! The hosts are very nice and accommodating. They have the best breakfast in Sri Lanka and they will try to fulfill all your wishes. It was really great. We would always come back!

I think this is one of the most special AirBnB experiences I’ve ever had. Absolutely stunning location, amazing food and wonderful hospitality. We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer. Dinidu and the team are excellent hosts.

Renate and her team were very warm and easily accessible. Renate had good tips for the area and took care of the guests very cute and with a shovel of humor (sometimes a little talked a lot but super sweet!). The animals (peacocks & dogs) are a bit noisy at night. The room does not have AC but the fan was sufficient. Surroundings is quiet and a true oasis! 10 min with tuktuk you are at the beautiful red and silent beach. In about 18 minutes you are at the furthest point of Tangalle Beach (breathtakingly beautiful and if you are lucky you will see turtle babies)!

Donna's place was our best place to stay in Sri Lanka. Everything is newly decorated and clean, towels are more than enough. The city center is a bit far, but the stop from the bus is right in front of the accommodation so you are there in 10 minutes. Silent beach is very close and we don't need anything else.

Amazing stay with the most wonderful staff. Thank you so much to Indi, Kelum and Anil for taking such good care of us. We stayed for over a month and we were made to feel at home for the whole stay. The garden and pool area is so relaxing, the view from the kitchen and dining area is lovely and the location is ideal. Could not recommend Ebb and Flow enough. Thank you again to all of the team! x
