Vacation rentals with breakfast in Takayama

It is one of the best memories of our trip to Japan at this century old house, quiet and refined.Although we only stayed for one night, our family experienced the Japanese living scenario that we had seen in movies and animations before, and when we left, it was a love affair.And the B&B is in a great location, only 5 minutes to Old Street.It was clean and well equipped, especially the wonderful soup bath.The owner was also very considerate, prepared the welcome card, and helped us book the restaurant.Breakfast is an early morning feeding box in the hospital and is also very good.

Was an amazing stay at Iori, had a warm welcome from the host giving quiet some good recommendations, we felt like home right away. The hotel itself is very clean and stylish, also the surrounding of the place are quiet, compared to takayama (a village next to hida) much less tourists and quieter area, while quiet some authentic restaurants and shops to have a local experience. Loves it :)!

It was my second stay, but I was able to fully enjoy Hida sightseeing in a stylish accommodation.

We had a very pleasant stay at Iori and the house was really comfortable. The host was very nice! She picked us up from the station and brought us to the accomodation. She showed us how to use everything in the house and recommended many places to us. They even helped us make reservations at the restaurants and kimono rental! The vegan breakfast was included and was really delicious! Really recommended! Thank you!

great and responsive host! The host is so friendly and he picks us up in snowy day. The house is so traditional,big and we love the way it looks! Also, the breakfast provided is so tasty. I would recommend this place to our friends if they travel nearby!🩷🩷😊

We spent Christmas here and it was a lovely, peaceful place to stay. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and great amenities - the fancy toaster was a highlight! Easy walk to nearby supermarket. We had an issue with the Nespresso machine and our host popped by within minutes to help us out. He also gave a lot of great local recommendations. We’re so glad we chose this delightful place to spend a few nights!

The best airbnb I have ever stayed in. We arrived at the Lounge for check-in and was greeted by the friendly staff and offered yummy snacks. The staff then drove us to the house and provided a thorough rundown of everything. We also tried out the spa services, paired with the bath and sauna inside the house made the most perfect and relaxing night. Such a convenient location where everything was in walkable distance.

Thank you for Rie's hospitality! The place is homey, neat and spacious. Rie is very responsive and caring for the guest. As we stayed in January, she reminded us about the weather condition and made dinner reservation for us as the restaurants and shops are closed during winter. Would love to visit again!

Great location for a mountain trip. The rooms are so spacious from the balcony to the bathroom and private onsen, and the views from the hotel are stunning. And the beds are very comfortable. We had a great stay

Secluded hotel near wonderful Northern alps. The service is beyond great - staff was very helpful with our accomodation as we arrived earlier than expected, our luggage was taken care of, the breakfast was delicious. The private bath with mountain view was amazing, the room was much bigger than we expected. Some things are a bit worn here and there, but well kept - it gives a nostalgic feeling of staying in 90s hotel. If we have a chance to stay near Shinhotaka again, we would definitely come back!
