Vacation rentals in Kanazawa

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely place and great host! We’d recommend and come back again!

This historical lodge near the pond was accessible by public transportation (bus), but needs light in dark roads. I thank you for the kind hospitality for checking in late. The room was clean and good enough, except for the insects (stink bug?) in the room. Free coffee from coffee beans was great!! Shared kitchen is available.

Great stay. Easy to get to from the station via the buses and to go see the sites. Big enough kitchen to cook a meal and sit and watch TV.

Lovely homestay, everything was perfect except for some confusion about the check-in guide and close to the sights

Staying here is the best decision I have made on my (so far) 3 week Japan trip. This place had the least reviews of all places I’m staying at - but it turned out to be so amazing. The host is so sweet, kind, (very) responsive and helpful. I needed help with understanding how to visit Shirikawa-go, and she helped me understand how to do it. She really did everything to make my stay amazing. The guest house overall is according to the photos and description, and it felt really nice being there. Peaceful atmosphere and everything. If you want to experience something truly Japanese, I think this especially then is an amazing choice. Also, the Wi-fi was amazing! Can’t remember the exact speed I had… but I believe it was consistently over 130mbps. Worked extremely well. This is fairly easy to access from the nearest station - around a 15min walk. I can SO highly recommend this place - and I want to come back here again - hopefully I get to do so soon. Thank you!! ☺️

It was clean and comfortable. In addition, there is also a parking lot, and the station is just around the corner, so I think it is easy to access. Check-in may be a little confusing, so I think it's better to contact you to ask.(I'm quick to respond.)

Hiromi was an amazing host. She was a great help, and took time for us. Time spends chatting with her (despite my bad Japanese and bad English😅) was very interesting and Hiromi is an open person. Uchinada is a quiet town with hot springs and the beach. The train station is close to Kanazawa quickly. It would be nice to see Hiromi again someday. Thanks again for everything, I wish you all the best in the future.

Our family of five had a great stay at Glen’s. He was friendly and provided helpful tips about what to see and do in Kanazawa. The accomodation was comfy and spacious (esp. compared to the compact Japanese hotel rooms we had been staying in). We had a car, so can’t say how easy it is to get to Glen’s place by other means. But we had a fab time in Kanazawa and would stay there again in the future.
