Lovely cottage, very peaceful village location, with plenty of walks from the door. Lots of wildlife to be seen including Red Kites. Friendly local pub serving great food and regular, reliable bus service to Shaftesbury and Salisbury. James and his family, were brilliant hosts - helpful and communicative.

Karen's Dovecote is a remarkable place to stay. Everything about it has been so thoughtfully and beautifully done. The bed is huge and very comfortable with lovely bedding. The surroundings are a haven of peace, tranquility and beauty. We loved meeting the horses and the little doggies. Karen was a fantastic host, who gave great recommendations on where to visit and where to eat. One feels so refreshed after staying here, we recommend it very highly.

Wow what a lovely place! Chloe is a superb Host. I took my partner for a surprise weekend away for her birthday and this place did not disappoint. Very peaceful and cosy. Beautiful surroundings and the pub is right next door! Chloe was so friendly and helpful, check-in and out was easy, hassle-free. Thank you Chloe for such a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Kate’s property for a hen weekend. Perfect areas for hanging out as a group and a lovely dining area to share meals. Really comfy bedrooms and enough bathrooms for a full house. Grace, who helps host the property was v helpful with tweaking check in and check out times and was very responsive to any questions that came up. It’s a beautiful property and we have a lovely cosy weekend but I imagine in the spring/summer the garden and tennis court really comes into its own.
