Monthly Rentals in Sumiainen

I had a lovely weekend - peace and quiet in a beautiful location. The cottage had everything I needed, was super clean and heated upon arrival. The keys were available via a lockbox and Pauliina popped by on her way home from work to say hello. The wood sauna was quick to heat up and had an added bonus of a real shower! Plenty of wood available for the sauna and fire in the cottage itself. Comfortable bed an zero noise meant I slept well but the town is only a few minutes drive away (Choice of supermarkets, Alko etc). There were cafes and restaurants there as well. Would be nice to see the place in the Summer. Thanks Pauliina!

We enjoyed our stay in this Studio, with taste and well equipped for 2. We came to explore the Finnish Winter Sports as well as Alvar Aaltos architecture. Thank you for your hospitality, we recommend your place!

Great location and peaceful surroundings. The apartment was clean and cozy, and found everything you need for a couple of nights.

If you are looking for a quiet place, I would highly recommend Eija's place! Eija is super nice and always responded to my requests and curiosity. The house has a big yard and closes to a lake where you can go cross-country skiing in winter. The room is cozy and includes own kitchen and bathroom. Several big supermarkets and a secondhand store are within walkable distance. A trip to Jyväskylä city centre is also not difficult by bus, it takes around 45 minutes with beautiful scenery on the way.
