Denise is the loveliest host ever. She cares about her guests and will go out of her way to assist. She has tastefully arranged the old Post Office, and included all the necessary amenities and more. We truly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous hide-away.

What a beautiful country stay! Couldn’t recommend it more highly. Gorgeous property and gardens, breakky ingredients ready to be used, comfortable bed, super friendly host. I’ll definitely be back.

Raglan Retreat is a magical place. So much so that I extended my stay. Peaceful and private, you feel worlds away. The landscape is ever changing from spectacular sunrises and dreamy pink skies to mystical fog and starry nights. The sky is vast and inspiring. Loved walking around the property, watching the friendly Belted Galloway cattle grazing and all the abundant native birdlife flying by. The cabin is so comfortable and clean, with everything you need for a great stay. The bed is cosy and the hot shower is lovely to enjoy the stunning view in the morning. It’s an easy drive to the Beaufort IGA for supplies, and onwards to enjoy the Pyrenees wineries (Mt Langi Ghiran is stunning). If you’re in need of a quiet rural escape surrounded by nature, this is it. Thanks to owners Phil & Wendy, and hosts Sally and Elle for a wonderful stay.

Denise offers a splendid retreat: it's a quiet cottage with all amenities you need to relax either indoors or outdoors. I loved the cleanliness, the attention to detail and the generosity of her home.
