Monthly Rentals in Stonehouse

Lovely accommodation for a short stay. We appreciated the breakfast and hot drink supplies. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom facilities just right. Good to be a short walk from the friendly local pub and a Little Waitrose. There is some noise from the busy road but otherwise fine.

When you arrive and see the outside you wonder how four will fit in let alone the seven possible guests, but once inside it all becomes clear. lots of space, good sized bedrooms and a sunny wee garden. The situation is good, it's near a secondary school but we heard nothing and saw few roaming students. Stonehouse is a lovely town, with lots of shops and places to eat. Stroud is not far away and of course the Cotswolds. Overall a great place to stay, well appointed and good hosts.

Best Air BnB we stayed. The host is really helpful and very professional. Even, at my home I don’t have that nice arrangements for everything.

I was visiting the area of my childhood and in fact The Nook was right next door to my old house. The walks straight onto Selsley Common and the views from the common were everything I remembered. Fabulous. From the sitting room you had a beautiful view of The Severn and beyond. Gillian had provided a well equipped kitchen and lots of little thoughtful touches like somewhere to put the shampoo in the large walk in shower and a mirror for the hairdryer! Smashing place for one. If two the sofa may have been a little too small (but cosy). Just be warned it is a tight turn into the lane leading to the Nook and I am not sure if a large car would manage it. Gillian would be able to advise.
