We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lavender Cottage. It was an ideal base for our weekend seeing family and friends and we would definitely stay here again! Bright, cosy and peaceful, day and night. Loved the exposed beams and the layout, perfect for us - though the spiral stairs would definitely be a challenge for people with small children or restricted mobility. Christine was one of the most proactive AirBnB hosts I've come across so although we didn't meet in person we felt very welcomed and supported. Thank you Christine and as I said, it felt just like home - only prettier!

Lovely small barn conversion, ideal place for a couple, very friendly and helpful owner who made us feel welcome.

The view from the barn over the Chiltern hills is simply stunning. Walks are all around; I walked to Ellesborough and then onto Wendover on the public footpaths, as well as walking the Phoenix trail from Thame to Princes Risborough and then back to Little Kimble. The local bus route (which has a frequent service) is close by, as is the train into London. The barn itself has oodles of character and is light and spacious, with modern, stylish finishes. Highly recommended.
