This is a super nice place and everything is well organized. Happy people who want to have you with everything. We did a safari and that was great too. We just found the prices a little on the high side. Otherwise completely satisfied.

Great place to relax with a tasty buffet. Close to Udawalawa national park, with great drivers/guides. Shante was our driver, really nice man. Remember to bring mosquito repellent for being outside.

Really a special experience to stay there! Falling to sleep with rushing waves right by the dunes was really great! The food was great and the staff very courteous and helped with all matters. We also did the safari mi asela twice and were delighted with his knowledge, we were even lucky and could see a leopard on both days, Asela really gave everything so we could get the best safari experience! Also a big thank you to sukumal who has fulfilled every wish in the accommodation!

We loved our stay at —— we wish could have spent more nights here. Unfortunately, this place is very popular. We slept in a big canvas tent on a wooden deck with two queen-sized beds across from each other, this was perfect for our family of four. We also appreciate the broom left in the bathroom, since the tent is on the beach, we stepped in quite a lot of sand. The breakfast was amazing and we had a wonderful dinner on the beach! Falling asleep at night with the sound of the waves was very the best part! The staff was very friendly! We would recommend this place. Clean, friendly staff, soft beds, and great food!

Very sweet people, beautiful grounds and nice tents. Everything is arranged clearly and in a very organized way. Have quite little to criticize. We had already booked our safari somewhere else some time ago, so couldn't book this with them anymore. This wasn't a problem. Thanks for the complementary dessert on the last day. And for a nice stay!

Staying at Rukmal's little jungle heaven was amazing. He responded quickly, picked us up from town, arranged a great safari (for a good price) and gave us lots of tips on what to do in the area. The tent had a mattress fitting two people perfectly, and was one of our most comfortable stays in Sri Lanka. Thank you so much for being an amazing host and showing us how to play your board game! Would recomend this place to anyone.

Worth every penny, that was one of the coolest stays I’ve ever had. The place was great, I would highly recommend it, it’s right beside the river which soothes the soul and Lulls you to sleep. I have to talk about the service, wow, incredible, I felt like royalty the way I was treated, and the main gentleman I believe his name was Dithu? He was beyond amazing, he went so out of his way to make me feel welcome, secure and cared for. He truly was amazing, all the staff were! As well as the main lady, I can’t remember her name! They also told me about cricket and we watched the fame while they prepared me a feast. Thankyou everyone for an incredible and memorable stay.

We had a great time at the campsite. Arrived on the bus around 9 and Kosala picked us up and brought us to the site. 450Rs for delicious fried rice when we arrived. Raised tent has 2 mattresses, pillows, a sheet, mosquito net, and electric fan with extra outlet if you need to charge phone. We brought our own towel but some might be available upon request. Complimentary Sri Lankan buffet for breakfast followed by the rafting. Complimentary tuk tuk pick up and drop off. We were on the water for about an hour total and got to spend some of it swimming in the river. Class 2/3 rapids so great for kids or first time rafters. Great time!

Great location, amazing waterfall, beautiful view, delicious traditional food and a nice family who was hosting us. Everything you wish for during your stay. Loved the small place in the middle of nature. I hope to come back some day!

What a beautiful place to stay. The tent was clean and tidy and the shower and toilet functioned well. Daily cleaning and making up of a very comfortable bed was a treat. However, the people here made it a joy. Raj and his team put in long hours and work so hard to make the safari camp as perfect as possible for guests. They were all, so respectful, considerate, friendly and happy and couldn’t do enough for you. If you are used to 5 star luxury hotels then this isn’t the place for you. But if you want to experience rusticity surrounded by nature, sharing surroundings with monkeys, monitor lizards, geckos, frogs, birds and insects then this is perfect. We also booked our safaris through the camp (Mahoora) and saw so much everyday. Our thanks go to all the staff involved in making our time truly memorable. We highly recommend this to anyone.
