Great cozy house by Egmont National Park. Molly's place is great, spacious rooms, fully equipped, fast wi fi, everything was clean and tidy. She was friendly and always responsive. I stayed here with friends as a base for hikes at Mount Taranaki and it was a lovely experience.

We had a lovely stay. Big modern home with seperate areas. Stunning views of the coast & great location for surf. House is in a small enclave of six houses but as the rear house it is very private & the neighbours were super friendly. There is a communal table at the front of the property with fantastic sunset views. We were a bit puzzled about how to access the beach - neighbours told us. You can walk in front of both cliff top houses - the one to the left has a path down to the water. The beach is not suitable for swimming but we were there to surf so we were very happy. Only disappointment was that the enormous deck was unusable during the day. It has no shade at all & was just unbearably hot - we did ask if an umbrella was available but unfortunately not. Also there are no deck chairs or lounging seats- just a table with bench seats. We enjoyed dinner out there but that was all. Bit of a shame not to be able to utilise the best feature. But overall highly recommend

Beautiful cottage with homely comfortable furnishings. Kitchen well equipped. Beds comfortable. Lovely shower with great pressure. Quiet neighbourhood. Lovely walks close by. Thank you ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful home surrounded by amazing views of the mountains and ocean and so many stars at night So peaceful and tranquil - highly recommend and will stay again.

I have been travelling to NZ almost every year for the last 16 years. My mother and Sister live in Opunake. This house was by far the cleanest, most spacious, best appointed and relaxed property I have rented. I have rented around 25 places. Thank you Kerry and John. See you in 2 years. X

We loved our stay here. The area was private with an amazing view of Mount Taranaki! There were some lovely sheep that grazed the yard in front of the deck and kitchen window and we loved watching them graze it was really peaceful. I most enjoyed the walking paths throughout the property. We hiked the Pouakai Crossing and were dead but also wanting to do something fun so we went out to take a look. They had a map and it was a walkway through the woods, around his pound, and over the property. We saw some glow worms on the property and felt it was the perfect addition to our stay. The unit is self sufficient but we had no problem with water flow in the shower it also had great temp and pressure. We also made a fire and had all the wood near by it was a very comfortable stay!

Awesome lil place to stay, perfectly close to New Plymouth. Was a great get away space for me to stay while at Te Matatini. The best fish and chip shop right next door! Heaps of awesome spaces to go for walks! Miharo!
