The accommodation was as described. It is super modern and clean and has a very comfy sofa. Great accommodation to visit Taranaki. We would stay there again.

I have been travelling to NZ almost every year for the last 16 years. My mother and Sister live in Opunake. This house was by far the cleanest, most spacious, best appointed and relaxed property I have rented. I have rented around 25 places. Thank you Kerry and John. See you in 2 years. X

Fantastic place for WOMAD! So close to the park and had everything you need for a good stay.

Lauren’s place is set in a lovely garden. There is a large deck off the living area that is perfect for enjoying the sun and a peek of the sea. The house is beautifully decorated and has lots of light. It is located close to walkways/ parks and near a dairy and Indian takeout ( recommend this). The section was secure - ideal for us as we made a hasty decision to escape Wellingtons lack of summer and had no dog boarding organised. Thank you Lauren for allowing us to bring Charley and Rex. The house had plenty of space for the two of us ( or a family) It was well stocked and had everything we needed. Lauren was quick to reply to any questions. Thank you for having us stay, we enjoyed your house and had a great time in New Plymouth.

We had a lovely stay at Tyler and Zoë’s place. It’s a great location for exploring Taranaki and also enjoying the peace and quiet of their neighbourhood. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog too. Thanks, would recommend.

If this house shows up with your applied filters, save yourself any excess effort and simply book it. Stunningly clean, well appointed, functional and compact - this is a brilliant place for a couple to spend a few days away from central city living.

Beautiful and simple place with everything you need! Awesome that the fur babies are welcomed and pretty secure location for them. House is right by the main road so some road noise (trucks etc) but not a lot at night. Great communication from Peter and the place had pretty much everything you need. Deck was awesome to chill on - we brought our own sun brolly so could chill out there all day. Beach isn’t far (Onaero was our choice as not as busy and dog friendly). Beautiful ngahere hikoi next door to the bach, which was neat for our son to find the ‘treasures’ along the pathway. Great stay!

It was a lovely short stay. We loved the pool. We had a great time doing barbecue with drinks. Kate and Paul were super friendly and their lovely dog Sally. Beautiful place to be with friends and family.

Had very great communication with John and Brichelle. Their property was a great stay for my mates and I. Even though it was for one night, we felt comfortable and had a good time.

The walking group, comprising 12 women, had the most amazing three days at Sophie’s. It was everything, and more, we’d hoped for. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay. Each bedroom has an ensuite. Lounge and kitchen very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay with family. Lots of space for everyone. Very large deck that felt very safe for the children. Food at the restaurant was lovely. They also did room service which was wonderful. The ‘second living area’ in the photos was no where to be seen. Not sure if that photo has been posted by mistake 🤷🏼‍♀️ We also weren’t aware this property is actually part of a motel/lodge so when we arrived we weren’t sure where we were. It worked out really well though and everyone was great. The pool in the photos is part of the complex so it was quite busy at some points. The only thing that would have made it better was if there was a vacuum cleaner in the room as this is not a serviced apartment and we had booked for 5 nights with children so we really could have used a vacuum 😅 Would definitely recommend this place to others. Really private with amazing views.

Great place to stay, with large, comfortable beds. Pet-friendly, with fully fenced section. Garden is beautiful and house is situated right next to Te Henui walkway to the sea. Local Orangery restaurant at the nearby Plymouth has delicious food. Kitchen, bathrooms, and linen are very clean - but the house is tired. We still loved it :)

The apartment was excellent for our family of 3 generation's, great beds, good sized bedrooms and lots of bathrooms to accommodate 8 people easily. The apartment was bigger than I was expecting and the location was excellent with easy access to the waterfront with a skate park, basketball court, and bar area by the walking path and beach, all within mins of walking from the apartment. Having the apartment part of the lodge accommodation meant the guests who wanted restaurant breakfast or dinner could while others used the bbq and kitchen at the apartment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend this as a holiday option and will stay here again.

Lovely house in a lovely town. We really enjoyed our week in Oakura at Victoria’s place. The house is great, spacious and well equipped. Oakura is a wonderful place to stay with an awesome beach, good cafes restaurants and bars, and is a short drive from New Plymouth.

Spacious place for our group of 8. David and Sheryl are very quick in reply our message. They have two nice, beautiful cats who love to visit us. I would give David and Sheryl perfect 5 stars if they provide a better hair drier and few more cooking pots as we love to cook at home. If we have a chance to come back to New Plymouth, I would stay there again. Thank you for hosting us David and Sheryl. Hoat and the Co.

Great little home, Melissa was super helpful in organising around our travel and accommodating to our family and friends who also joined us. Even left us a bag of full of easter treats for our getaway. Lovely stay!

Nice overnight stay here at Celeste’s Airbnb. Close to Brooklands bowl which was ideal. Celeste was extremely responsive, accommodating and flexible! Would recommend

Molly's place is great. Located just off the main areas very private, handy for traveling to the different surf beaches. Molly is a great communicator and very helpful. highly recommended

Back yard area was great with a couple of kids as a space to relax as a family. Convenient location, communication was excellent.

Great stay, the atmosphere was great.. and it was great to wake up and go outside! Loved our stay.
