Pet-friendly vacation rentals in South San Francisco

First time in this area for me—Came here to enjoy a quiet getaway out in a forest-y area and it was really pleasant. This home was super cozy and cute and the neighborhood was equally charming. Would definitely return to this area for a longer stay! The restaurants and theater are easily walkable distances and there’s so much more food places to try.

Julia’s place is really nice and just like the photos. It’s also a great deal. The backyard is especially nice if you have children or dogs. We brought two little dogs with us that loved running around. Check in was super easy and Julia was accessible and communicative. I recommended some minor improvements for the shower cleaning and around frequency of communication. Despite those, we had a really nice stay and would stay again and recommend to others. We’ve actually recommended to family that love near by.

The place was great with a group of friends, even had leftover rooms.

We had a lovely holiday weekend in this spacious and well-furnished house. Our hosts were responsive and accommodating. We felt the house was set up beautifully and really had everything we needed for our large group. This place is a real gem and I highly recommend.

I stayed here for a little over a month. The house is big and had everything I needed. The location is also great, only a short walk from downtown Mountain View and Caltrain station. The host was very accommodating and responsive. Highly recommend for both short and long stays.

My whole family had a wonderful week-long stay at Sunny’s. Walkable to great spots in Berkeley, easy access to the train, while still being tucked away on a cozy street. Enjoyed a clean house flooded with sunlight and stocked with all the amenities we needed. Sunny was super responsive. What a great stay and host!

We loved our stay at Casita Casita. Courtney was flexible with check in and check out, quick to respond to requests and had an amazing book of recommendations in the area. So glad we could bring our fur baby with us on the adventure too. We would stay here again!

Lovely house in a quiet neighborhood. Amenities and supplies were as described, and the house had a very open, relaxing and warm flow to it. Great family trip especially with the heated pool in winter! Gina was very helpful and responsive with all of our questions ahead of and during our stay.

This house was perfect for our group. It’s a big and unique space, very practical with plenty of living/lounge space, indoor and outdoor dining, great swimming pool, etc. It’s on the older side, but very functional - and has things like air conditioning that aren’t at all givens in the area. WiFi works great, including for work from home. It’s equipped with the basics (and some unexpected odds and ends!), but if you want particular kitchen or bathroom supplies you may want to bring your own. It’s also very easy to pick up anything you need nearby. Would recommend!

The house for our needs perfectly and Noel was helpful when we let him know of a couple small issues. The kitchen was perfect for our family dinners together so we didn’t have to worry about eating out each meal.

This is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood! You can sleep with the windows open without issues. Alexander is a very nice host and is always available when needed and has great suggestions and otherwise will fully respect your privacy in a very proactive manner. You can use the pool upon request which we have done a number of times. The unit is a standalone dwelling and therefore fully private. You can park in the driveway and have your own entryway. I enjoyed it very much and only didn’t stay longer as he was already booked for another 4 months!

Incredible stay. The most beautiful location looking out into nature. We stayed here during winter and it was equally beautiful on the bright sunny days as it was on the rainy ones. Additionally Melodie was the best Airbnb host I have ever had. Gave us plenty of space, but anticipated everything we needed as guests on an extended stay. 10/10

Good spacious 2br near university avenue.

The guesthouse located in the Berkeley hills was what I needed for an extended stay for business. The space was private, quiet, had plenty of room to work as well as all the ammenities to be comfortable. Both hosts were proactive in communications, responded quickly to any questions, and provided thoughtful extras for guests. I would stay again.

Stephen's house is a cozy and spacious place to stay, and is in a great part of Alameda. We live in Alameda but needed a place to stay while my family was staying in our house, and it was perfect for us.

This was our second time staying here. We love the location and ease of access for our senior dogs. Mel is always helpful and prompt with communication. We're looking forward to our next visit!

Merriewood Retreat was perfect for our multi-day stay. It is extremely peaceful and quiet, has a comfortable (and adjustable) king-sized bed, and an enclosed garden if you have a dog. The high ceiling and views of the garden out the sliding glass doors add to the relaxing ambiance. The kitchenette has a small fridge, hot plate, and microwave oven. Marilyn's communication was authentic and unparalleled. We will stay there again the next time we are in the Bay Area!

This was definitely the best airbnb I've found in the area! The space was private and comfortable. Plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, and paper towels (a surprising annoyance of mine with stays other places!). Responsive host. Helpful instructions. Felt right at home in the space. Clean and tidy. Comfy bed, pillows (actually 4 of them, thank you!), and overall temperature of the apartment. Easy check-in and check-out. One thing to note is that it is conveniently located across from bart station, so there is some noise associated with that, but you ARE in the city, so there's that. It didn't really bother me, just something to note if you're a light sleeper (but the bed was so comfy, it didn't phase me much!). I stayed for 12 days, and it was perfect for my needs. I would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

Ray's Airbnb was absolutely what it said it was like on the page - Ray's team was so responsive, even going above and beyond in terms of communication~ Rooms were wonderful, such a nice, open layout of the living room and dining area, laundry was a big plus~ One small thing, when we entered, everything was so clean and spotless, but the floors were still wet from the cleaners, or getting ready for our arrival (we checked in at around 4:15-4:30pm), the floors continued to be wet for the rest of the night and the smell/perfume of the product they used continued throughout our stay - it wasn't a huge problem by any means, but if they could use a less stronger smelling product, that might increase the happiness of the stay - again, spotless, but there was a definite odor all throughout~ 10/10 would stay here again though - we loved Menlo Park!

I appreciate the communication and the cleanliness. I will be back.
