I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin near the beach. The place was very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The host was excellent—very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Our stay at this property was fantastic! The house was spotless, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location on the lake was absolutely stunning, and having kayaks available was a wonderful bonus. It made our trip to Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail even more enjoyable. Communication with the host was seamless, with clear instructions and a thorough description provided. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!

I had a group of four families (with young children) stay at both the eagle and the sun house. The houses were very clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our group and even had multiple unused bedrooms. The view is spectacular from both houses - especially the sun house. The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s no air conditioning in the houses, but we were kept cool by opening the windows and using the many fans that were provided in the rooms. It was fine during our stay, but I could imagine the upstairs rooms may get stuffy if you happen to visit during a particularly warm period. There’s a walk down the hill to the beach on the lake, and the beach is rocky so don’t expect to bring young kids swimming. Even if you’re feeling adventurous you’ll need water shoes to get around. Overall a great experience and a good way for a large group to visit Cape Breton

This place is a gem for anyone looking to relax, let go, and keep it simple. Which we were. We also appreciated the food and drinks Kent provided. We hope to return.

We had a great stay at Richard’s place. The location is beautiful and has a very walkable coast line. It has great privacy and is also a great location to visit other sites such as the Cabot Trail, Highland Village Museum, and the Eskakoni area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming property! The space was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. The highlight was the stunning lake view right from the house. Waking up to those serene waters every morning was unforgettable! The hosts were exceptionally friendly and communicative, providing clear instructions and making sure we had a seamless experience. Their attention to detail and hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable. We'd happily return and highly recommend it to others!
