This was a perfect getaway to rest and relax. We saw wild turkeys and deer wandering in the property. We were so thankful for the peacefulness this place offers which was the reason we stayed here. Our host Corin was so helpful, friendly and instructions were very clear. The home is very clean, beautiful and comfy. 😊

We were looking for a peaceful dog-friendly stay for our trip out to Amador wine country and Michael & Clint's property delivered! The shipping container concept was brilliant and we looked forward to spending time on the deck. We were thrilled when we got there to find that the deck was fully enclosed which allowed us to take the leashes off! We had a great evening eating outside under the lights then turning everything off and enjoying the night sky. We will definitely return with our dogs on our next trip! As a side note we have previously stayed in Plymouth, Jackson and Mokelumne Hill where there is a dearth of electric car chargers. This location was ideal for running up to Placerville, charging our car while enjoying espresso drinks at Pachamama Coffee.

My husband and I stayed at Nanette’s with our 3 month old daughter and two small dogs and had a wonderful stay! There were so many activities to do at the house and on the property. The neighborhood was very nice and friendly during our afternoon walks. The bed is a little squeaky when you move, but the studio was very spacious. The kitchen actually had an instapot, hot plate and a griddle that was not included in the description, but it was a wonderful surprise! We will definitely be staying again in the future!

Harvey was a great host. From the moment we walked in, we felt at home and wanted to stay an extra night, which they accommodated very kindly. They left snacks and refreshments, and all kinds of additions for us inside to make us feel at home and to enjoy our visit thoroughly. Lots of information about the local wineries in the area which we enjoyed for two days. It is quiet and very well appointed. Highly recommend!
