Vacation rentals with a firepit in Sherman

Nick's place was super nice for our weekend getaway with some friends. A great cozy spot to hang out and play tons of games and make nice dinners (fantastic kitchen setup), and not too far from all of the great things the Catskills has to offer. We did have a bit of an issue with the kitchen sink backing up, but Nick was very responsive when letting him know.

Corina’s house is amazing! It’s roomy, clean and well-stocked. We will be back.

This was our second time staying here for a family getaway and it was better than we remembered. The hosts were so great, very responsive and helpful. It snowed a bunch while we were here and they made sure we had what we needed and a plow came to help us get out of the driveway. The fireplaces are such a cozy touch and our dog loves the big fenced yard. We will be returning again!

Such a beautiful home, loved the updated bathrooms and kitchen. It snowed so we were not able to use firepit however look forward to going back in the spring

Very nice house with lots of room to spread out. The tv room was our favorite. Clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The location is not far from grocery store, hiking and wineries. It snowed the night before we left and we were nervous about going down the steep road but the neighborhood does a great job plowing. We really enjoyed our stay!

Had a great time in Cornwall, CT. We go away every year with friends for new years, renting a different house every time. This was one of our favorites. Loved the modern yet rustic decor. Bathrooms were beautiful and heated doors throughout. Big table for our expanded crew and puzzles. And very peaceful on the river, close to Mohawk Mt., etc. Great way to ring in 2025! Thanks Elena.

Paula's home was the perfect weekend getaway for my family, and the only thing better than the location was the weather. We were able to enjoy the beautiful lakefront and walk around the neighborhood as well as enjoy all the sights to see in the neighboring town. The house was spacious enough to relax while also having fun and making new memories. We would love to stay here again in the future!

So tranquil! Julie’s place was the perfect place for a girls weekend getaway. So much natural sunlight, and a beautifully clean and updated kitchen. We were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the kitchen pots/pans/knives. Everything was so clean and cozy, we will definitely return!

It's a lovely apartment that was very clean quite spacious and comfortable. Just a short minute or two drive to a few restaurants and to Daryl's house. We had a great time!

Molly's place was GREAT--a total gem for the area. The vibe and layout of the space was sunny, peaceful, and super welcoming. Easily one of my favorite AirBnB's ever--we will definitely be back! The kitchen had everything we needed and the whole apartment felt spacious and roomy, yet cozy. The backyard area is gorgeous! Even though the house is right on main street, the sound isolation was great and we slept well every night we were there (the most comfortable bed EVER also helped). We miss this place already!!

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

My family and I had a lovely stay. It was exactly what we wanted out of a weekend trip away from home. At the end of our stay, we all said that we need to come back again and have a longer stay!

Kim’s place is clean and has almost averything we need. There’s even free snacks when we arrived. We feel that we are home just far away from our own home. Hot tub did not fail us. It was so relaxing even with snow around us and rain pouring. We enjoyed our stay.

This was our third stay at this Little haven by the woods, and it was perfect, as always. Such a cozy little garden apartment that has everything we need. We especially enjoy the huge park practically right outside our door and went hiking there with our dog every morning. The apartment is in the perfect location, close to the train station to NYC, as well as many of the nearby hiking trails, breweries, and shopping in the Hudson River Valley. We can't wait to return!

had such a great stay here! we were staying during a bit of a winter storm but the cottage was cozy and warm! we also thought it was so kind that pat and kelley cleared the snow from the driveway, the path up to the cottage, and the stairs and path in the back of the cottage too. everywhere outside of phoenicia that we planned on visiting was about a 15-30 minute drive which was honestly a great thing since the roads were always cleared and we could enjoy the scenic views along the way. it was a great experience and we’d love to come back! (maybe when it’s not so cold so we can use the fire pit by the stream!)

It was exactly what we needed. We're an incredibly busy New York City family with little-to-no time to do the nice things and just...be a "family," and we were able to do those things in Elise's cabin, in addition to skiing, enjoying a fireplace, and generally just enjoying each other's company. Plus, there's a solid thai place down the road (West Milford Thai Restaurant; the pad thai was bangin'), not-to-mention a Shoprite, a couple liquor stores and everything else you might nearby, including a dispensary, if that's your thing. ENJOY!

We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend to enjoy a truly cozy cabin experience. The location and views were absolutely breathtaking, the cabin was outfitted with very sweet accommodations, especially the all the necessities for making delicious s’mores by the fire. Brian and Stephanie went the extra mile in making us feel right at home, some of the best hosts you could ask for, and the absolute best location for a relaxing weekend getaway in the mountains. Truly an experience like no other in the best way possible!

What a magnificent spot! If nothing else, the creek next to the house was worth the price of admission. But the whole experience was fantastic. We filled the place up, and had a dozen more family members come for Thanksgiving dinner. It was cozy and the extra kitchen in the cabin was a godsend. We loved being there, and everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you!

Had a great time, we got to the cabin late in the evening and it was extremely easy to check in via the instructions they provided ahead of time. The provided guidelines in the cabin answered all questions about the space and checking out. Very peaceful along the creek and centrally located so it was easy to get around for the weekend. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the charming cottage. Its retro style is so nice. We can’t wait to go back in warmer weather so we can enjoy the outside space.

This was our second time to Phoenicia and our first time staying at Frankie & Andrew’s cabin. We came for a quiet Christmas getaway with our toddler and this cabin was exactly what we had in mind. Frankie & Andrew were excellent hosts—flexible, communicative, and welcoming. Couldn’t ask for anything more. We would definitely stay here again!
