Perfect place to start our ring road adventure. It is a beautiful walk to the city along the path next to the ocean. It is at least a 30 minute walk, but the beauty is worth every step. A very well equipped apartment with many personal touches. We even had a nice bottle of wine as a welcome treat. Do not hesitate if you want a warm and inviting place to stay. :). Hilary & Steve

It was our first time in Iceland and staying here was the perfect choice. Place is amazing, private and in the perfect location. I’d 1000% recommend to anyone. Heated bathroom floors were a nice surprise 😎

Sigrún's apartment is comfortable and cozy, perfect for a traveling couple, with everything one needs. And Sigrún is a thoughtful and conscientious host, who responds to all inquiries in a pleasant and informative manner. Her building is located on the Seltjarnarnes peninsula, which directly juts out into the Atlantic from the western edge of Reykjavik and has great views. The neighborhood is residential, with easy access to shops within walking distance and at least one excellent restaurant roughly a mile away, the Ráðagerði, which Sigrún suggested and we loved. There also are a running path and bike path around the peninsula, which I used. But most importantly, all of Reykjavik is easily accessible from the apartment -- there is a bus stop right outside her building and bus service within Reykjavik is excellent.
