Kyoto comfortable place + free wifi

Spacious and interesting 4-story apartment in the heart of Kyoto. Great layout for multiple people (we visited with our two adult daughters), and a phenomenal location, walking distance to many of the key sites we wanted to go to in Kyoto. Very interesting layout - the apartment enters into what appears to be an old izakaya or sake bar, which was a lot of fun to eat our breakfast at. Lots of extra bedding and dishes, and Naoko was very responsive to all questions. We had a bit of a problem with the main instructions being sent in a Powerpoint format, which was difficult to access on a smartphone, but we eventually worked that out. We should also mention that we drove our car from Tokyo. The AirBnb does not have parking, but there are several small parking lots within 100m. Be careful to make sure you use a lot marked '24hrs' if you are staying overnight, and it is also worth checking rates - the lots we used the first night was 2200 JPY for the night, but the second was was twice that.

A very nice place in a nice location. Easy connection to the rest of the city. After 8 pm it is recommended to be quiet and no longer speak loudly, the walls are very thin.

We, my wife and I, rented the place for a month, so plenty of room for just the 2 of us. This reasonably spacious apartment was very clean and comfortable and an easy walk to train station, grocery and convenient stores. Also, well stocked with basic toiletries and kitchen and cleaning supplies. Quiet building and safe neighborhood too.

A delightful stay in one of the 4 attached units that constitutes this rental. Even though we got assigned a different apartment than the one picture on the AirBnB site, it allowed us to meet the manager of the property (owned by a foreigner), Mr Mori. He profusely apologized for the confusion and went well beyond of his responsibilities to make our stay comfortable and very memorable. Under the cold rain he took us to a local yakitori, showed us the shops around, and brought my wife his own cooker to allow us to prepare meals inside the unit (there is no kitchen in the apartment). Communication was excellent, always extremely courteous, and friendly. Thank you so very much, Keith-san for your hospitality!
