Great stay! Flexible check in. The owner was in when I arrived and cane out to say hi, super warm and friendly. The pod was lovely, had everything I needed with little extras like biscuits, coffee pods and eggs.

Beautiful little apartment with everything you could need. Great location that allowed me to go out to Sandwood Bay which was spectacular!

What a wonderful week! I went to Culkein/Assynt for the express purpose of getting away from the overwhelming excesses of London life, and I succeeded, thanks in no small part to Karen and Iain’s pod. The pod is beautifully situated with an uninterrupted view of the coast, waves breaking over rocks, fields of sheep. The place is easy to locate, and Karen was proactive in providing easy-to-follow directions. The pod itself has everything you’d want or need and is extremely comfortable. Culkein is a great location if you’re looking to hike nearby Suilven, go on walks or just relax on the deck and stare out to the sea. I have nothing but high recommendations based on my experience, and I have every intention of returning to the region - it’s stunning.

We had a lovely stay here and it was exactly what we needed. We were on a fishing trip 30mins north of here so it was nice to return to a home-from-home and the end of our long, busy days. On arrival the cottage was clean and tidy, and having it all on one level made it so easy with our one year old. Great accessible location too. Beds were comfy and clean. Basic but really nice, this cottage offered us a lovely base. Martin was really helpful before and during the stay and it’s evident that his guests comfort comes first. Thank you for a lovely stay!
