We had a magical stay—sleeping to the sound of the river each nice. The woman and man working day and night shifts respectively are so sweet. Wake up for the complimentary breakfast!

this was a nice functional hotel room. there were bananas at the front desk throughout the day if you needed a snack and the family was around to help with questions any time. bed and room was comfy and clean. the town is cute and quiet and everyone i spoke with was friendly. i came here to go to the hot springs but unforunately there was a lot of rain which flooded the river and caused landslides so a few times it was impossible to get there. you are still able to walk around and enjoy the nature nearby. it is very pretty.

If you have any mobility issues, this is probably not the place for you. Otherwise, it was a fun adventure! The stone paths and landscaping are amazingly beautiful, but be careful, because they are slippery when wet! I'm not sure what the odor in the room was. It was not a deal breaker, because we were there for an adventure. There was a dedicated hot water heater in both our rooms, but neither one worked no matter what switches we flipped. To be fair, we didn't bring it up to the host who may have been able to help us. We were too exhausted by that point to worry about it! Peruvian time is interesting. Sit back and relax while you wait on their schedule. The food was yummy, and our cook / attendant was great! We were there in the off season, so I'd like to go during the dry season to experience the hotel in its prime.
