Lovely peaceful countryside location near the river, good house for a few friends or families.

this place is great for a short vacation, as well as a long stay like ours. though it is small it is also very comfortable (and cozy). the kitcenette was well equiped and i cooked almost all our meals there. julia was friendly, nice and attentive. she was always within reach if we needed something. i definitly recommend staying here if you are in need of accomodation in this beautiful area of portugal.

Everything was great. We were greeted by her mother, very nice, generous and explained how to use everything. They welcomed us and gave us a wine, eggs, oranges and potatoes from their orchard... How lucky to have come at this time! The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures, very well equipped and furnished, very clean. Communication had to be a mixture between French-Portuguese but as Spanish we understood everything well. Unique nuance, the heating is a fireplace in the living room that does not fully heat the rest of the rooms. We in February we wore a jersey and slippers at home and that was enough to not get cold. .

We had an amazing stay at Casa de Suelas. We enjoyed the nature, the pool, the sheep that live next door, the starry sky at night, the barbecue... an unforgettable vacation. Also thanking Bruno for his attention and recommendations, he made us feel very welcome. In short, an ideal place to disconnect, get to know the north of Portugal, sightseeing in the nearby towns, and a lot of rest in a unique house. We hope to come back some day and miss it. Thank you!
