What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.

Our stay was excellent. We felt very comfortable from the very first moment. The attention from the host was impeccable, always attentive and willing to help. Everything was perfect with the stay on our first time in this area! Alma is very kind! The only thing I would recommend to the host, as a host myself, is more air conditioning in the house. One fan is not enough for the whole house, as it is very large! If they included a few more fans it would be perfect! And we'll be back for sure! Thank you so much!
