Rick and Tonya are the gold standard of Airbnb hosts! From the moment we arrived, they were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating without ever being overbearing—a perfect balance that made our 2.5-month stay feel like home. Traveling with two dogs can sometimes feel daunting, but Rick and Tonya were incredibly dog-friendly and went out of their way to make my pups feel just as welcome as I did. Their home had everything we needed to cook full meals, and the kitchen setup made it easy to settle in for an extended stay. Other thoughtful touches included great water pressure in the shower (a must for me!) and a full-size washer and dryer on-site. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into what guests need for a comfortable experience. By the time we left, we didn’t just feel like we had a great place to stay—we felt like we’d made new friends. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll absolutely be staying with Rick and Tonya. Highly recommend!

Mitzy’s place was great! Convenient location and it fulfilled all my needs. It is really close to Fillmore, Japantown, and Hayes valley. Mitzy is a great host - communicative and approachable. One thing is the property is old itself just like most of SF buildings. Bathroom and some kitchen appliances are outdated 🙃. Overall, I enjoyed staying here!

Highlights of my stay: plenty of natural light, very peaceful, safe neighborhood, and very warm welcome with chocolates!
