Very nice place, it is quiet and the views are very beautiful, the only bad thing is that it is quite far from almost everything, but there are bus stops very close by. Mrs. Ana is very kind and always took our calls.

House in Middle of the World (no power outages)

Good place, good location, the only advice I could give is that check-in is a little earlier since we are complicated for people who do not know the city to make time, but from there everything is excellent, super attentive

Cozy Apartment in the Middle of the World!

AaronRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Located in an excellent area close to Mitad del Mundo and some museums. Very private and the place is clean and has everything needed for a stay. We had some trouble initially finding the Airbnb, so I think the address is not fully complete. Would recommend this place for a visit in Quito!

Short Review: 10/10 would recommend to stay for a couple nights if you can. Long Review: The info on this area is vague so hope this helps. Recommend to take an uber from Quito to the house (approx $15), otherwise it’s kinda complicated and you may be left to hike down the mtn with all your luggage. There are no markets in this area, so bring any snacks/drinks you want. Apparently all of the restaurants are only open on weekends (we were here during the week), so we were 100% reliant on Olga for food which was no problem. $3.50 for breakfast, and $7-$10 for lunch/dinner depending on what you get. All the food was great. Take a 45 min hike up to the mirador (trailhead is 200 meters away from house) and from there take a taxi/bus if you want to visit the Equator. We did this and it was great. The host arranged a van for us to leave ($35 to get us back to Quito). Service, hot tub, communication, views, and the home were amazing. STAY HERE! So much fun
