Vacation rentals with beach access in Saint Leonard

We needed a place close to Gate #1 of the US Naval Academy and this place delivered. I could throw a rock at the guard shack, although I would strongly recommend you not do that. The place was laid out well with a nice living room, comfortable kitchen, and two bedrooms that were large and on opposite sides of the apartment. The only issue we had is with parking and that is simply an Annapolis treat. We were able to park out front (for a fee) to unload, but that is not guaranteed as there are only so many spots. You can park on both sides of the street though. We parked the vehicle in the Hillman Parking Garage and were able to walk most places. It was a quick walk to the garage from the Apartment and we went to the "downtown" shopping area and the docks several times. Our stay was pleasant and if possible, we will stay here again. Thanks!

We had a winter visit and despite it being freezing outside the house was nice and toasty and we appreciated the fast hot water for showering. No fenced yard for our dog but it's a nice area to walk around. Central location, close to restaurants. Would stay again.

Pat and Nell were such wonderful hosts. It was the perfect mix of function for a nearby swim meet at St Mary’s and relaxation like a mini vacation. The beds are very comfortable, the linens are nice and the shower is wonderful. Although we didn’t use the laundry it was so nice to have accessible units so we could dry my son’s swim suit and towels in between sessions. The location is just beautiful, filled with lots of history which Pat was so gracious to share with my boys and I. Highly recommend.

Wonderful space, clean, walking distance to lots of attractions. This is our second stay here and it won’t be our last! Can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful host—I felt right at home. Had conversation prior to arrival and felt like I knew her very well before arriving. The view was spectacular I could have just sat on the patio and watched the woods and water all day. Was there for a school reunion so I had other activities that I had scheduled. This was by far, the best Air B&B experience I have had. Fantastic host, comfortable, and stunning scenery. I am going to try and revisit soon.

We had such a wonderful stay for our Mother-Daughter weekend! The home was spacious, worked beautifully for the six of us! Sitting on the beautiful front porch watching the sun come up over the river was amazing! Great place for a family stay!! ❤️❤️❤️

Everything was exactly as pictured! The private beach is wonderful and easy to access. The house was clean and everything was very nice. The only thing we didn’t love was that you have to bring your trash off site if you stay longer than two days. It’s only about a 5 minute drive but just not something we anticipated having to do.

One of the finest Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at! Beautiful decor and amenities in one of our new favorite communities. Kim was very responsive and gave us plenty of recommendations for food and entertainment. We loved the floor to ceiling windows on the first floor overlooking the Chesapeake. The primary had equally large windows with an expansive view plus a fireplace and very comfortable bedding. Overall, the weather didn’t cooperate, but we still had a nice, relaxing weekend in a beautifully equipped house in a great town on the bay. We’ll look to book in the warmer months soon.

This was a great little beach-area cottage we stayed at for a swim meet at St. Mary's College. The house was clean and cozy. My daughter loved the bunk beds! It was a little too chilly to enjoy the porch, but the hammocks looked inviting. Host was wonderful, flexible and communicative. A great find!

We had an amazing stay at this riverside house! The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Being so close to the water made it feel like a peaceful retreat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house over looking the bay! The views all around the property were absolutely stunning, creating such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I was on a work trip with several coworkers, and the house was incredibly comfortable and spacious —it truly felt like home. The space was clean, safe, and well-maintained, making it the perfect retreat after long workdays. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare a large family meal, which was a huge plus. Most importantly, our host was amazing—she was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a serene and welcoming getaway. Thank you, for such a great experience!

Usually when we book an Airbnb the photos and the description seem to be better than the actual house. This was not the case for this house. The cleanliness and quality of the house was beyond our expectations. We were also surprised with how many activities were in and around the house for our whole family to enjoy. My family has already decided we will be staying here in the future. Megan was so responsive and helpful throughout our stay that I would recommend booking a stay now!

This place worked wonders for our family vacation. the place is very new and updated with 2 full bathrooms that were clean and spacious for beach time and baths with kids. colonial beach is a hidden gem in a historic little town that seems as though at one point was hustling and bustling but isn't quite as popular as it once was but trying to come back. if your a family looking for a uncrowded beach and some activities to do in the area then this place is great! we actually read about this place being in the heart of historic downtown. only thing we would have loved to see with this place is some outdoor patio spot at the home directly to be able to sit outside together. the location does not really have any night life during the week, not even on 4th of July. we went out at 9 pm and the bar closed at 10 pm which seemed way too early for a Thursday and holiday and being on the beach.

After a little miscommunication on the arrival time, everything was at it should be or better. Great location, clean, responsive well worth it. Great experience and will be back regularly.

Our stay was great! We went to the dive bar for dinner it was super cute! Then we went to the brewery for drinks. The location was great. The apartment was super clean and beautiful. We would stay again!

We had a peaceful stay at Jennifer’s place. The place was accessible to a lot of local restaurants and one of a kind shops. We truly enjoyed a local spot just a 4 mins walk in town called Black Water. They specialize in breakfast and we ate there both mornings of our stay, reservations are recommended but we managed to get seated arriving at 9:00 on both Saturday and Sunday. The bed was very comfortable and we rested well. Jennifer provided very detailed checkin instructions and even checked in to make sure our arrival went well. The home was in great condition and very clean.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay! The place felt comfortable the neighborhood was pleasant. Brandon's kitchen was well-stocked with all the kitchen utensils needed for cooking and baking . The little touches, like having makeup remover wipes available, were really appreciated. And the view from the rooftop was simply amazing! Communication with Brandon was perfect. He was easy to reach and very responsive to any questions we had. The kids had a blast playing basketball across the street – thanks so much for making sure the ball was inflated, that was a lifesaver! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Our visit is always wonderful not only for the lovely setting and convenience of being in town, but for the gracious hospitality. Not only are Chris and Kate welcoming and attend to any needs, their staff at the Oxford Market are also marvelous folks. The cottage is a great fit for my elderly parents as it is all on one floor. The location is perfect as you can walk to many delightful places. My Dad enjoyed getting the newspaper and homemade muffins each morning. Just perfect! Thank you! Katie Dodds

A phenomenal place in a beautiful location. You won’t get a better view than offered here, and there was plenty of space for a whole family to stay. The hosts were extremely responsive and pleasant to talk with, and accommodating to my last minute request to stay. Would 100% recommend and we will be back for sure!
