Monthly Rentals in Sabbath Day Point

The Schoolhouse is a great home base for exploring the area. The creek out back and the view of the lake from inside are so peaceful. The kitchen has everything needed, even a strainer for spaghetti. There is plenty of space for a family to relax and unwind. Beds and towels are clean and comfy. Gavin is very helpful. As for things to do, Fort Ticonderoga is a great day trip. Schroon Lake has a beautiful public park and beach area with a few quaint shops. Record Hill has amazing views of Lake George and gives a good work out.

I was looking to make sure my vacation spot was an upgrade from my everyday home, and this was certainly that. Very new construction with top-of-the-line everything. Three of the four bedrooms had a balcony overlooking the lake. The screened-in porch is a destination all by itself. The view from the property is stunning. The home has beach access neighbors only - the adjacent homes are not on top of this one. There were no problems with the beach-access neighbors at all. Everyone was quiet, respectful and friendly. The dock was very usable for a rental. The open side was easy to dock my rental at again and again for the week. The remoteness of this location cannot be overstated. We treated the boat as a car, as it was much faster and easier to get to places by boat. Given this, we cooked on the propane grill the entire week and loved every minute. One "negative" I would point out is the lack of laundry facilities. Bring clothes and towels and plan re-use and you will be fine.

Our stay at Christine's place was absolutely fantastic. The interior design was truly stunning – every room was thoughtfully curated with beautiful decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere. But the real highlight was the incredible hot tub! It was clean, large and provided the ultimate relaxation after a day of exploring. We spent both evenings soaking under the stars. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.
