Home and Garden in Brodick

GavinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A lovely property in a great location. Main bathroom and kitchen seem new. Was a little unnerved by the dehumidifiers, but wasn't a problem. Heating took a little time to get set up, but once was really cosy when we got back. Comfortable beds. We definitely felt at home and the kids loved it. Responsive host who was lovely to deal with as well. Bit of a tight squeeze into the driveway (we had a 7 seater ford galaxy) but we got the hang of it. We had a great time.

The House on Bute (Fircliff), sleeps 14, sea views

JoanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay at this property, sea views over 3 levels, ample space for us all (3 families (6 adults, 6 children). And there was literally everything we needed in the kitchen, every utensil possible, we were very impressed. The overall temperature of the property was really good, considering at times it felt like -5 degrees outside. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you for a great stay.

Loch View House Glenstriven Estate

MariamRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had the most wonderful stay at Loch View House! The location is incredibly serene and scenic and the house itself is gorgeous with really thoughtful touches! The place was big enough to host all 12 of us, including kids and each room is perfectly decorated! Ema was incredibly friendly and on hand to help too! We’ve made some incredible memories that we’ll treasure forever.

Balmory Stables North, luxury stable conversion

Suzanne Rating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Balmory Stables. The house exceeded our expectations, with peaceful surroundings and lots of space for the whole family to enjoy, including a garden. It felt lovely and secluded and yet was a short drive from Rothesay and all of the amenities there. The wood burning stove was an added bonus, and made the place feel very homely. Ulrike was a wonderful and very thoughtful host, who even brought some games and toys along so that our young children had something to play with on rainy days. Overall, Balmory Stables is a fantastic place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

Hidden gem on Secret Coast

RichardRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Suzy’s home is situated in a very peaceful area with lovely views from the huge living room window across farmland to the hills of Kintyre in the distance. The view plus the comfy chairs make for a perfectly relaxing time, especially when the storms roll in. We managed a couple of walks from the house to the beach mentioned in the description (bring wellies) and also to the local village which was very quiet but has an interesting church with lots of history. Further afield, Kilbride Beach is worth a visit with its views across to the Isle of Arran and if you go during the day there is a small cafe at the start of the walk to the beach. The Old Smiddy is as described and is very comfortable. The house is all on one level, spacious and has a lovely garden where you can watch the birds and the deer. The heron visited on occasion. Suzy provided freshly cut flowers on our arrival and a superb welcome pack containing lovely local treats. The cheese biscuits were great!

Sandylands Caravan Park

MarliesRating, 5 stars5 months ago
A really lovely caravan, very comfortable, with everything you could need. The kitchen has a great stove and all the small appliances. The lounge is a great place to relax. I loved that there are two bathrooms. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and the bedding was good. No towels, so bring your own. We did not use any of the facilities on the park as we were travelling around all day. However, the people seemed friendly and the park is well maintained. Could use some trees though. Saltcoats is a lovely place and so are many of the other towns around. We loved our stay and Steven is a great host.

Cabin retreat in Wemyss Bay

PaulRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Andrew and Mary's lodge in Wemyss Bay Caravan Park over the Christmas period. The hosts were welcoming and took the time to explain all aspects of the lodge and its facilities upon our arrival, which was much appreciated. The lodge was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and a great table for our Christmas Dinner which made it feel like a true home away from home. It was warm and exactly as described on Airbnb. The location was perfect for a peaceful family getaway, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a cosy and well-appointed retreat!

Hi the caravan as lovely as advertised however we were unaware that the pub amusements, pool, etc could only be used by ‘blue pass’ holders. We arrived after six when office was closed. Disappointed seven year old … saved us a fortune though thanks Gemma

WilliamRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lovely little cottage with everything required for a short stay (or longer if you’re lucky enough!). Victoria was a lovely and communicative host from the second we made our booking. Very quiet and comfortable accommodation with easy access to the centre of town and just 30 seconds from the sea. A sweet welcome pack was very much appreciated.

Delightful cottage in stunning waterfront location

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed at Chris’ place over new year and it was perfect. A stunning setting with some lovely walks and right by the water. We saw red squirrels, an otter, a heron and lots of other birds. It was a short stay but there was a lot more to see and do than we managed.

Argyll Retreat by Lock Eck. Argyll Forest Park.

KellyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The lodge was as described. Robbie had been kind enough to leave a light on & heater for us. Located in a quiet area with a beautiful view. The area is quite rural but perfect if you like walking. Loved exploring and finding little waterfalls etc around. The purpose of our visit was to do very little and escape work/commitments for a few days which we definitely did. The lodge was very cosy, the bedding was lovely and thick, very snuggly. We were able to watch TV via firestick with all the apps and the kitchen had every pan, utensil etc needed. Everything we needed was included. Thank you Robbie for a lovely stay.

Aros Rhu - Private Luxury Retreat With Loch Views

AineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at Aros Rhu with friends and the house was perfect - just as it is in the pictures. We had a baby with us and the cot/high chair that was provided was great. Lynn was very responsive and professional in all of our communication with her, for which I was particularly thankful for.

2 Bedroom Farm Annex Cottage

KathrynRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We stopped at Susie's house on the second night of our week walking The Cowal Way...what a wonderful find. The cottage has everything you need and is exceptional value for money . Susie's kindness in taking us to the nearby pub was so appreciated after a long days walking as was the lovely hot bath, warm rooms, fresh eggs and bread Would definitely go back for more walking , adventure and hospitality. Thank you also for taking us in the morning so we could avoid the road part of the walk.........all in all a great experience. Thank you.
