we really enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely peaceful location, right in the heart of the village, next to the river. John wasa very good host and respected your privacy, but was very responsive as well. Very nice interior with a lovely little garden room to sit in. We will be back.

A lovely little place, comforting and everything you need! Very homely and the location is great. The host is personable and always on hand if anything is needed. Would definitely recommend staying in the perfect little place!

David and Rachel's cottage was lovely, a real home from home in a peaceful street, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and furnished, extremely well equipped and comfortable, with a welcome pack of milk, wine, cookies and logs for the log burner. A short walk to some lovely friendly pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants. David was very helpful and communicated brilliantly. Walks on the doorstep to Roseberry Topping and into Stokesley along the river. We had a great weekend with friends staying in a house up the road and wouldn't hesitate to return when the weather is better with our dog for more exploration.
