The apartment is very nice and spacious perfect for a couple or a small family like ours. The place has a character and the furniture are stylish and well kept. Everything was clean and in perfect condition. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook your meal. We felt like at home. Check-in was smooth, instructions were very clear. We briefly met Julie, she is a very nice lady. Highly recommended, we hope to have the chance to go back!

Thank you Janet for hosting the most wonderful stay! The cottage is clean, cosy and beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful details. It was the perfect location for scenic walks - our favourite being the close walk around Flatford Mill. Plenty of local friendly pubs around too. Janet is one of the kindest hosts, thank you for making us feel so at home!!

Despite a hiccup with checking in, I felt very well looked after whilst I was there and the host went out of their way to resolve the issue and cleaned the apartment themselves. The photos don't do this justice, it's a really beautiful place that's been decorated to a very high and comfortable standard. The location was beautiful and I enjoyed walking the gardens, as well as exploring the lovely countryside nearby. I'd definitely recommend to anyone else seeking a solo retreat within beautiful countryside.

Smoky Cart Lodge is in a beautiful peaceful and tranquil place. surrounded by open fields. when the clouds moved the noght sky was incredible, so so clear perfect for stargazing. Public footpath led you to a very welcoming and dog friendly pub, The Anchor Inn. A full fitted kitchen allowed us to cook at ease. The whole place is clean, cosy and like a home from home. I would very much recommend Smoky Cart Lodge as a perfect peaceful stay. Camilla went over and above as a host, with fresh Croissants and Pan au chocolate, good tea and coffee for use, excellent recommendation for our needs and a friendly hello when we saw her in the grounds. We will definitely be back.
