With a toddler and an infant with us, we couldn't have found a better place to stay in our first trip to NZ. We knew it would be a challenging trip but David's cottage helped us ease in and we felt right at home, he even proactively provided a portable cot for our baby. Each morning of our stay was amazing with great views and our kids loved interacting with Daizy and Carnival. We would love to stay here again for our next visit to this beautiful country!

Hakarimata hideaway is just that, a stunning little mini house, very private, very nicely appointed, very well thought out, everything is there for a short stay. There are stunning short walks on the property, where it’s just you in beautiful rainforest and then to a stunning view.

What a magical place this was! We booked a getaway to relax and unwind and this lovely little cottage was just what we needed, and more. So serene, lovely views, nature, and animals...and the cabin had everything we needed. Cherry is so friendly and accommodating. Refreshing pool , BBQ, and breaky if you need it. Exceeded our expectations and would love to come back!
