The property is in a quiet street and well located to the Main Street of Beaufort. The accomodation is extremely homely. Cherie was fantastic to deal with and was extremely helpful with any requirements, we will be back!

Love our stay! My daughter loves to pet the animals especially pom pom (the sheep). The kitchen is well equipped and we really felt like home. Deb is also very friendly and active, she's so kind to accompany us feeding the pets and provides heaps of info on interesting places nearby. Thanks Deb! Would definitely coming back 😊

Sharon’s cottage in Avoca is pure magic. Beautifully designed with so much to explore, thoughtfully stocked, and the perfect retreat between exploring the Pyrenees. Every detail has been considered, from fresh linen sheets to a well-equipped kitchen with coffee, bread, marshmallows, hot chocolates, soft fluffy towels and big soft comfy couches. The outdoor spaces were just as special - a firepit with plenty of wood, a charming pottery shed for a grazing platter, and an outdoor bath under a sky full of stars. We loved Sharon’s recommendation to visit the Avoca Races and had the best day, with her even helping us arrange a shuttle. Avoca itself is a gem, with a great pub, a fantastic kids’ park, and plenty to explore. Sharon, thank you for an unforgettable stay, we’ll absolutely be back!

Raglan Retreat is a magical place. So much so that I extended my stay. Peaceful and private, you feel worlds away. The landscape is ever changing from spectacular sunrises and dreamy pink skies to mystical fog and starry nights. The sky is vast and inspiring. Loved walking around the property, watching the friendly Belted Galloway cattle grazing and all the abundant native birdlife flying by. The cabin is so comfortable and clean, with everything you need for a great stay. The bed is cosy and the hot shower is lovely to enjoy the stunning view in the morning. It’s an easy drive to the Beaufort IGA for supplies, and onwards to enjoy the Pyrenees wineries (Mt Langi Ghiran is stunning). If you’re in need of a quiet rural escape surrounded by nature, this is it. Thanks to owners Phil & Wendy, and hosts Sally and Elle for a wonderful stay.
