The place is a heaven. Surrounded amidst hills and forests, this place provides a perfect escape from the city hustle. The views were breathtaking and the cottage was very well done. Anees was super helpful in providing clear instructions en route to the cottage while also arranging for anything that we required. The caretaker Justin was also very helpful in getting anything that we needed. Overall a great experience, will visit again :)

Sid is an exceptional host who goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless and memorable stay. From the moment we arrived, he had everything perfectly arranged and made sure we got to experience the best of the local cuisine with every meal. The Airbnb itself is an ideal retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The stunning valley views right in front of the stay create a serene atmosphere, complemented by the soothing sounds of nature—chirping birds and the constant whispers of the valley. We immersed ourselves in the surroundings with a rejuvenating forest bathing session in the jungle nearby and spent our nights stargazing under a breathtaking sky. The place also offers a cozy setup for barbecues and bonfires, making it even more special. Having your own car would make the experience better , but since we didn’t, Sid made sure all necessary travel arrangements were taken care of. This is our newly found happy place! Away from the maddening crowd, we spent 2 nights 3 days here with our doggo, on her annual vacation! The place is beautiful, the food is awesome and Lavanya and her family's hospitality was beyond words. The beaches are not very far from the Homestay. We visited 3 beaches and all them were beautiful and clean. We carried happy memories from Kannur, and we plan to go back soon. My parents and I had the most wonderful stay at Vindhya's place. The pictures don't do the place justice, it is absolutely beautiful. With the seaside view and breeze from the balcony(from each of the rooms!) and the beach just being a direct walk from the house, one couldn't possibly ask for a better place. The house had all the amenities as needed; and the caretaker Mr. Dillu was always available for any help, and very refreshing in his spirits and humor. Hope to stay again here, and highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful has-got-it-all getaway :)

Our stay at the A-Frame House was nothing short of a serene and unforgettable retreat, a perfect escape from the relentless hustle and bustle of city life. Although locating the prprty prsnted a minor chalnge initially owing to limited network coverage. Nestled in the heart of nature, the property offers an unparalleled sense of tranquility and seclusion. Salman, the host, was exemplary in his responsiveness and hospitality. From the moment we connected, he ensured a seamless experience by anticipating our needs and preparing all the essentials well in advance. A highlight of our stay was the cook's exceptional culinary skills, with every meal being fresh and flavorful. The vegetable stew with dosa for breakfast was especially memrble & cmes highly recom. While the experience was largely exceptional, the house features only one bathroom despite accommodating a large family, and the master bedroom lacked curtains or blinds, with one fan being non-functional.

It was one the best places that we have ever stayed at in the country. The property offers so many different view points and the top lost point after a 10 mins hike, is the best! it's a 360° view. we could even spot a Bison and a Giant Red Squirrel. Sam and Ashwin who take care of the property were amazing hosts who took us around for breathtaking views, set up a flawless BBQ for us and also told us so much about the stars.

The House: This place is at an amazing location with 360 degree mountain views. You can just sit and enjoy the beauty and do nothing else. There are 2 main bedrooms and one small bedroom with an entrance through kitchen. The bathrooms are enclosed but are partially open on top and the outside shower looks like in the nature (exactly like pictures shown on site). If you go down the hill via tea plantation (or you can go by car), we reach a small waterfall and few ponds where you can relax. The steam may be forceful during rainy season. so be careful. The house have no AC and summer afternoon might be a little hot. Mornings and evenings are nice and breezy. As this house is in middle of nature, expect some insects. The outdoor have touch-me-not plants all over the lawn, if your kids want to play. The staff: (Suresh and co) are really helpful and customized menu and cooking to our taste. They go beyond their duty to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

We had an amazing stay! The space was clean, stylish, and exactly as described. Jose was an outstanding host—super responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Check-in was a breeze, and the little local tips he shared made our trip even better. Highly recommend staying here!
