Treehouse vacation rentals in Puntarenas Province

Saskia is so kind and fun. I'm grateful for my time on her beautiful property. She was very accommodating when I decided to leave early, after seeing how much Nosara has changed. Her land is a haven, tucked away from the bustle in Guiones. So much natural beauty, and lots and lots of animals (dogs, horses, chickens). I would recommend a vehicle if you want to be involved in what's going on around town. I wasn't super comfortable cooking in the kitchen (not the cleanest and only teflon pans), but there's a blender and fridge for fruit, etc. I stayed in the treehouse room, which is so beautiful and open, with the comfiest hammock. Just note that the roosters crow in the trees for like an hour in the early morning (and often sporadically throughout the night). I would absolutely come back for a few days, just with different expectations (and maybe a bike) :)

A place to go back. The beautiful facilities, very quiet, you sleep listening to the sea and if you want to bathe you have them in the backyard. With my partner we decided to enjoy the time at the property a lot and definitely had a great time and felt super comfortable. To doña Angela, thank you very much for everything and for having us, to Lynch, thank you very much for so good communication and for lending us a little bit of heaven!!

We had a great stay here! The hostel was clean, the staff were friendly, and it was a great place to relax for our stay. The breakfast was delicious and so was the coffee.

The most friendly hosts and gave great directions! A beautiful treehouse cabin with great views and birdwatching. Very comfortable and didn’t need A/C

Beautiful tree house cabin. Stunning view and comfortable beds. Loved spending time and eating dinner on the deck. Also tons of amazing wildlife, there were 2 toucans that visited us everyday. Definitely would recommend this place! :)

Words do not exist to even begin to explain how truly incredible Andrea’s cabins are. Such a beautiful, private and relaxing oasis. Just far enough from civilization to be able to fully enjoy the peace and quiet that is in Valle Azul but also so conveniently close to many fun attractions nearby. Such as the Arenal Volcano & hot springs. Also close to Ciudad Quesada city. We could see tucans, iguanas & so many more beautiful animals from our very own balcony. We were also able to pick our very own fruits from the trees on the property! So delicious. To top it off Andrea was such an amazing host, always attentive to our needs whatever they may be. She responded to all of our messages and/or in person questions immediately. She gave us such great advice on where to go and what to do. Always kept up with all of our needs in the cabin. She truly went above and beyond for us & we will definitely be coming back!

Everything was perfect. David is a great host, very communicative, responsive, and accommodating. The treehouse was even more beautiful than in the photos. The location was very private and the sunset views were phenomenal. Would not hesitate to book again - a real treat.

Shamir and Diane are absolutely wonderful hosts! The communication beforehand was incredible, sending us a google doc with many pages of guide and assistance! The house itself is amazing +++. If I could give it (and the whole experience) a 6 star rating, I would! Their house is newly renovated, clean and super peaceful. It is just a tiny bit of the main road so a car would probably be best. It is close to Quepos, beaches, and a whole vacation full of activities! I would love to go back!

Fabulous stay. Accommodation was amazing. The pool area is lovely. The breakfast and dinner were good. Ellie the Chef, catered for our dietary requirements which made our stay hassle free and very relaxing. The resident pets were a bonus and enjoyed cuddles with them.

Great cabin in a great location.

The tree house had a zen-like atmosphere that matched the lovely view and surroundings. Bed and linens were so comfortable. The round bedside window gave us bird views in the tree outside of it. The bathroom shower was fun as it had a full window to the forest while showering that was very private. We loved the jacuzzi on the balcony with its mood lighting. The trails at the private Lantana reserve were fun to explore. There were many lovely touches. Andre and his wife were warm and welcoming. Recommend an SUV vehicle with high clearance for the steep rocky road leading to the house.

Outstanding accommodations! The hosts have thought of everything; this space had certainly more than we were expecting or experienced like the snacks, drinks, ear plugs etc. They certainly take pride in their property and have the upmost thought when making an incredible guest experience. The space is so different and unique, quaint and right in the middle of nature! Highly recommend!

This stay was nothing short of incredible! The views were absolutely breathtaking, with sunsets unlike anything we’ve ever seen. The home itself was comfortable, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. One of the most memorable moments was watching monkeys come up to grab a snack from the banana hanger—such a unique and unforgettable experience! The hosts truly went above and beyond to make our stay special, ensuring every detail was perfect. If you’re looking for a luxurious getaway with stunning scenery and thoughtful hospitality, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic stay at the Treehouses. We planned it as a bit of luxury before heading off for two months around Costa Rica and it was just what was needed. Beautiful space, Nosara beaches were gorgeous and we loved walking down through the jungle in the morning to La Luna for breakfast. Chloe super helpful and responsive… thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Very nice place, private, quiet and perfect for relaxing for a weekend. Juan took very good care of all our queries and doubts, both before and during the visit. He was very attentive, he was flexible and accompanied us to a hike nearby in the mountains. I would recommend it.

Beautiful cabin and so is the view! The place is comfortable, private and with everything you need for your stay, it is close to the street and you can hear the traffic, but it was not a problem for us, we loved it. The wifi is very good and the bed is super comfortable. Very good communication with hosts.

We’ve stayed with Jessica a few times in the past and this time did not disappoint, as usual! The place was spotless upon arrival and really comfortable. The view from the deck is even better than what can be captured by the photos. It’s the busiest time of year in ST and Jessica’s place is so close to town and yet very quiet, away from the noise and dust. Atv recommended to get up the hill, as the listing says. Host is super responsive and can hook you up with atv rentals, etc! Thanks for another amazing stay!

We had a 4-wheel drive SUV which was recommended, and I am glad that we listened. The place is off the beaten path, but very secluded and beautiful!! We made all our own breakfasts and enjoyed howler monkeys traveling and eating the leaves on the trees right next to the outside deck. The pool was refreshing, and we enjoyed playing cards outside at night. I loved how the bathrooms, bedrooms and main living space were all separate but connected by a deck with a see through put protective roof. It really felt like we were in a tree luxury tree house. SO beautiful! I also loved all the beach recommendations that were given so we just didn’t end up at Tamarindo’s busiest beach every day. Some of the other beaches are off the beaten path and I recommend having a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get there! Thank you for the beautiful stay and welcoming refreshments and snacks!

Nice secluded spot up on the mountain, good location if you’re looking for a true off grid experience. Very accurate to the listing, and the message sent of warnings of it being a jungle experience with bugs and a hike to get to. Definitely wouldn’t recommend trying to lug a suitcase or a lot of goods up to the treehouse. We did a river hike from the base camp with waterfalls and swimming pools that was the highlight of our two week trip. It’s an interesting place you’d be hard pressed to match elsewhere. Only negatives aren’t on the host or the property, if members of your group struggle with terrain they may have difficulty reaching the house. A decent 4x4 is also required to climb the hill as others have noted. We did see monkeys, snakes, and a ton of different birds. I would recommend to any adventure seekers.

To say we had an amazing experience is an understatement. We were looking for a place that we could get away from the busy city life and reconnect but we also wanted to experience the local traditional cuisine. We found everything we were looking for and more with our stay at the Domos. It was peaceful and secluded allowing us to have time together surrounded by only nature. When we were ready to venture out the small town of Miramar was only a 15 minute drive where we found delicious food and pastries. The locals were friendly and helpful. We took the cavern tour and we were blown away with the pure beauty of the countryside and breathtaking views from the top of the mountains. The rock formations and water of the cavern was like something we've only seen in pictures. Swimming in the refreshing spring water was exhilarating and recharging. I would recommend this tour but be ready for an extreme hike. I highly recommend the Domos for a unique experience.

I can’t say enough good things about this stay. It feels like a jungle bungalow met an artist, and created this space. And truly that’s what it is! I loved the story behind the home, and it’s absolutely breathtaking in craftsmanship. It is all open air, so there will be some bugs and wear from the weather, but it only added to the charm. Surrounded by nature, I loved listening to the howler monkeys, birds, and the night songs of geckos and insects. Most of all, the host was absolutely one of the kindest people I’ve met. Silvia was warm, welcoming, available for anything we could need, and she really left such a great impression. Would stay again!

We really had a great time at this Air bnb. The location is a little out of the way but easily accessible with a suitable vehicle, and we really liked the quiet location. The large terrace was my personal highlight. From there we were able to observe monkeys and other animals. Andres is a kind person who was always happy to help us with any questions or concerns. Thank youu so much for everything!
