The Property was absolutely beautiful and an awesome getaway for families. Ayan was very helpful and shared great advice and recommendations. Kalpana didi was the icing on the cake for being hospitable and her cooking was Top Class.

We had a wonderful stay at Sugam's place. The homestay was cozy and comfortable, the surrounding was picturesque, and our host as very warm and welcoming. The experience was one of its kind. Everything was perfect, will definitely recommend if you want a break from the hustle bustle of the city and spend your time reconnecting with nature.

Here’s why: - Host (Girish): - Picked us up from Ghoom station and guided us to the property. - Shared detailed recommendations for exploring Darjeeling over three days. - Treated us like friends, with no conditions or restrictions—just pure hospitality. - Property: - Even better than the pictures—spacious, well-equipped, and serene. - Located 2 km from Ghoom in a remote and peaceful area. - Fully equipped kitchen (utensils, geyser) and modern washrooms (hair dryer, washing machine). - Activities: - Start your day with stunning sunrises over the valleys. - Trek to nearby tea gardens, cross valleys, and rivers—it’s the highlight of the stay! - Enjoy unlimited bonfires under a clear, star-filled sky (turn off property lights for the best view). - Extras: - House help arranged by Girish for cooking and cleaning (food was average but authentic). It was an amazing experience staying here, we stayed for 2 days and Prakash Ji was super welcoming even the food prepared by him was really yummy. We went for trekking towards Nepal on the 2nd day with Prakash Ji's brother and it was also a beautiful experience. The rooms and the view is really great, perfect for a peaceful experience.
