Melissa's Place was absolutely AMAZING! We bragged about how much inspiring it was for our home projects. The eye for detail was nice to see. There was pen & paper, beach towels, toothbrush holder, and so much more than I can sit down and write. I wanted to take the time to write this sparkling review because I am very picky with choosing accommodations. Please don't let the small amount of reviews stop you from staying here. You will have everything you need at your fingertips. It's also easily accessible for those who cannot take lots of stairs. There's only step. As Airbnb shows, Melissa responds within minutes and it's been true. From when we inquired about the accommodations, to leaving the home, she was always there. very responsive hostess via whats_app; -> organize a car rental through her contacts; savings with local company's vs the airport car rentals gouging you. ** as of Jan 2025 ~$100 for private taxi from Hewanorra Airport to this location if you dont organize something else first ** freshly bottled coconut water harvested on-site(!) for sale once a week by Kenneth is incredible for the price and convenience most places costing way more don't have.

Great little cottage, nestled in the trees, felt more like a tree house due to the surroundings and wonderful views. Loved sitting on the deck watching the birds and listening to the waves crashing on the beach below. Perfect place to unwind. Booking a hire car to explore the island is an advised but if you’re just keen on staying local to Laborie then you’ll be fine. It’s a bit of a hilly walk into town but Laborie bay/beach is beautiful. I enjoyed my stay and Evelyn was a great host.

The house is lovely in particular the pool area which we really enjoyed and is well set up. Location is restricted if you don’t have a car, but Leslee was accommodating.
