Waterfront vacation rentals in Portorož

Alenka was super-friendly, helpful and understanding. We can really recommend staying at this apartment house if you want to live as close to the sea as possible in Izola. Mornings and evenings were really calm, throughout the day it got quite crowded. Bars are nearby to relax and get food, music was okay for us. Downstairs lives another family member, very friendly and easy to talk to. Thank you!

We felt very comfortable. The location is super- almost directly on the sea. With air conditioning and screens on the lower floor, it was easy to bear - end of September. Good starting point to explore Grado or take other excursions to Trieste, but also Croatia. Only the non-functioning TV could have been a problem if the weather had been bad. Do not specify a TV. Otherwise, please come back.

It was very nice. Great location and very nice place for 4 persons. Sofa bed if you give a few more upholstery under them mattress is fine. The address is not so easy to find, as Google Maps is not so well located in the narrow streets. Front door across from Hotel Laguna

Really great apartment

The flat is located in the center of Trieste and perfect for exploring the city. Many sites, shops and restaurants are within 10 minutes walking distance. This means you won't have to carry your shopping around with you all day but can drop it off whenever you like. Be aware that, as a result, you will probably accumulate more stuff ;-) The flat which lies right under the roof on the fourth floor has a spacious and bright main room and we'll equipped bathroom with a washing machine. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

This place is amazing! Super cool layout and really felt looked after and classic Italian. Location is unbeatable! Right in the center of the town with plenty of places to see and do. Our host was amazing and very helpful with everything. Would go back again in a heartbeat. We are very happy!

Very nice host and a really clean and tidy apartment. The garden area is very nice and private. The sea was right in front of the house and very easy to reach.

Very quiet area, sandy beach very close and comfortable for children. Spacious and well furnished accommodation, with a beautiful sea view terrace. Relationships with hosts and other very friendly guests.

Tamara and her son personally welcomed us and led us into the apartment. This apartment was perfect for our family vacation, we felt very comfortable and especially enjoyed the proximity to the beach. Shopping, restaurants, and the beautiful old town were within easy walking distance.

We had beautiful days, very flexible and smooth check-in, the apartment is perfected with a view of the sea and the location could not be better. About 100 m to the beach with shade spots. Highly recommended!

Amazing place to stay! We did the Corsa della Bora race which started in Barcola (400m away) so the location was ideal. 3 adults and one 2year old child. Rene had a bed available for the little one, towels, blankets, bed sheets etc. - everything available and clean. Could not have wished for more! We got sent the exact adress shortly before including pictures on where to get up - the flat is at the top of a couple stairs, can't see it from the road but Rene and his wife / son came down to help us carry lagguage and showed us around. Parking slots down by the road (no time limit, for free). Great place to stay for a city trip to Triest and around! Grazie per tutti, Rene!

Beutiful place, best for family and dogs!

We’ve been to a few places in Slovenia and Andrej’s apartment was one of the best. Andrej is a welcoming host, willing to give good advice for restaurants, places to visit and so on. The apartment is literally in front of the sea. After visiting Koper and Piran, Izola was the best place to stay. You’re 50m away from bike rental, supermarket, bakery, restaurants and the sea. Thanks for the tips !

Susanna was very friendly. She took great care of us throughout our stay. She even brought us a Valentine's Day gift. Our dog was also perfectly taken care of. It is impossible to find a friendlier host.

We immediately felt at home. It's a private apartment where you can feel that people live here - not a sterile airbnb apartment. We found it particularly pleasant that everything was available - from tea bags to olive oil. The apartment is on the top floor, is very bright and the sun shines nicely in. We are completely satisfied - thank you for this beautiful place!

We all felt very comfortable in the apartment. It's very clean. The apartment is bright, well laid out and very well equipped. You can cook together, eat together at the large table. Since we had cooler weather than we originally expected, we as a family used the large table for game afternoons/evenings. The children felt very quickly at home. Very close to the apartment is also a playground and other beautiful playgrounds are on the way to the center of Umag. The hosts are quick to respond to questions and have good tips for restaurants and things to do.

Paolo and Karen's apartment is centrally located in the historical area of Trieste - great as a base to travel and visit family/friends ! Clean, spacious 2 bedroom apartment in perfect location. Close to bars, restaurants, the marina, Piazza Unitá, Piazza della Borsa, 15 min walk from the train station, numerous supermarkets and public transport. Location makes it easy to walk the city and explore. Paolo and Karen were responsive to queries and requests and were there to provide recommendations and assist when required (even needing to purchase a new toaster). Thank you for your hospitality and allowing us to stay in your apartment while we visited magical Trieste!

Great place to stay in a beautiful city.

Small apartment but perfect for a couple and a short stay. Convenient for walking to the center of Trieste but also the surroundings. The bathroom is narrow and long, you do not move easily but adapting a little can be accepted. For the rest, the apartment is well stocked with everything from the bathroom and kitchen essentials to some small packaged food for breakfast. The owner Claudio is very helpful!
