Cosy house with a breathtaking view

Hydra is a very popular island because of its picturesque capital, full of red-tiled houses and stone-paved narrow alleys. Hydra is one of the few areas in Greece for which there is preservation order. Access to the island of Hydra is easy It can be reached from the port of Piraeus by hydrofoil in just one and a half hour. The particularity of Hydra Greece is that all vehicles are prohibited, a fact which increases its charm. The house is in the middle of the amphitheatrical city of Hydra and it’s a 10-15 minute walk from the port. 2 floor house in the centre of Hydra Island with a breathtaking view which can be enjoyed from all the rooms of the house. On the ground floor the veranda has 2 levels. The 1st level outside the kitchen, is covered with ceramic tiles that provide cool and shade throughout the day, which makes it a pleasure to have all meals outside enjoying the beautiful view. On the 2nd level of the veranda you can sunbathe during the day or lie on comfortable chaise longues at night and have a cocktail under the stars. Entering the house there is a fully equipped kitchen, 2 ring stove with an small oven, and a 2nd mini fridge. One room which accommodates 2 people in 2 single beds with a WC- shower and a washing machine that you can use. This room can also be used as a dining room as there is a table for 6 people and it is quite spacious with 2 windows and a perfect view. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms which sleep 4 people and a bathroom with a shower. Each bedroom has got 2 single beds (they have small wheels) which can be used either separately, or as double beds by joining them and putting an extra thin double mattress on top. There is an air-conditioning unit in each of the two bedrooms upstairs and 3 portable fans. Passing through the 1st room there is another veranda that gives a wider view of the island.

Sunset house in Hydra

Our parents build this wonderful house in the traditional architecture of Hydra. The house is located in the picturesque fisherman's harbour of Kamini, more quiet and peaceful compared to the lively and cosmopolitan port of Hydra. It is 15 min walk from the central port of Hydra (along a scenic road next to the sea) or 3 min by water taxi. The house is only 90 steps(usually are more than 200) from the Kamini sea side road but the spectacular view from the terrace make it worth the effort.

Our place is a traditional stone house at Kamini district. It's a 15 minute walk from the port and 7 minutes from one of the best beaches of Hydra. Kamini is a quiet neighborhood with a small marina and restaurants serving delicious greek dishes. Our house has a balcony with exceptional sea view, a cozy side patio and a garden with lemon trees. It's a 2 bedroom house renovated and fully equipped (oven, dishwasher, washing-drying machine, A/C, Wi-Fi, Tv etc.) making it ideal for families.

We welcome you in our cottage house in Taktikoupoli, boasting a strategic location between Methana and Poros island, just 1 km away from the nearest coast (by car). It is a completely renovated two storey stone house. It is ten minutes from the port of Hydra and It has two internal courtyards. It is just thirty meters from the house of Leonard Cohen. Within 10 meters is a small supermarket, which also opens on Sundays. If you want to swim on rocky shores, Spilia and Hydronetta are waiting for you. If you want a fine pebble, Kastelo is an ideal place.The transfer of baggage upon arrival and departure will be done by us.

Grandmas Guest House

Grandmas Guest house belonged to our lovely grandmother Rose and our grandfather Panagiotis. We renovated the house in 2018 accordingly to traditional Hydriot style but is still comfortable and with all the modern amenities so the guests can feel like home. It is an independent cozy house,72 m2,on ground floor, is situated on the central road of the island, on Andrea Miaoulis str., and is about 8-12 minutes from the port on foot, without steps.

Spectacular Hydra House

Detached house, only 50 steps from the harbour, traditional outside, minimal inside, faces east, sunny in the morning, cool in the evening, ideal moonrise view, very quiet neighbourhood. Fully air conditioned. Good wi fi connection. Three equal size bedrooms with big windows all with en-suite bathrooms plus an extra bathroom for guests. Reasonably equipped kitchen.
