Vacation rentals in Polgahawela

We were very happy with the place. The location is top, right by the beach and many nice restaurants. Sometimes it's a bit noisy from the street or live music, but you have to put up with that if you're in the middle of a busy street! We really enjoyed it!

The host is so lovely as they were very attentive and made sure we had a wonderful stay. The property location is very peaceful and the property is well maintained and would certainly recommend. Definitely a super host! Thank you Mithra for making sure we had a great stay.

Hi Sharmilla, We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Tranquillity. The garden and surroundings are stunning, with beautiful pools leading into a vast palm forest and nature reserve. The tranquility is incredible—just birdsong and the sounds of nature all around. Sunil, the caretaker, was amazing. He helped with everything, from getting fresh fruit at a local farm to arranging a tuk-tuk. Such a kind and attentive person! We felt truly pampered and completely relaxed. Nice clean apartment as described in the listing. Very confortable and a secure place to stay. Close to all attractions around the Colombo city.

This was close to paradise and by far the best airbnb we have stayed in around the world. We loved the stylish design of the buildings, filled with art, the well maintained gardens and the beautiful pool which we had all to ourselves for two days. Dinesh, VJ and the rest of the staff were always in attendance with help and thoughtful gestures. Breakfast was delicious and more than we could eat. The bananas and star fruit straight from the tree were delicious. Dinesh arranged taxis and tuk tuks for us and a highlight was a his and hers massage in the spa room. It was a pleasure to meet Barbara, the owner and talk to her about her collection of art and artefacts. The rooms were very spacious with an excellent modern en- suite and tall ceilings. An idyllic two night stay to begin our journey around Sri Lanka and recuperate after a long flight from the UK. Do not hesitate to book at this beautiful oasis....we can't wait to return!

We really enjoyed staying at Champs and his parents place. It is a beautiful building which looks in real life even prettier than in the photos! Every apartment has its own pool. Champs parents are super welcoming and very polite as well as helpful hosts. The Sri Lankan breakfast they served was amazing!

The Villa was absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway — Mohamed and Tuan were the perfect hosts: super responsive and polite, always helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The space is spotless, the rooms were large and kept perfectly, and the view was unmatched. As long as you have transport to get you into Kandy, it’s also located conveniently so you can reach the city easily but still get the peace and quiet of the hills. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay with more attentive hosts!
