Monthly Rentals in Pochutla District

This is the best experience in an airbnb that we have had in our travels. Brenda is the consummate host, who communicates quickly and is extremely helpful. She goes far beyond our expectations of a host. Her home has spectacular views, multiple sitting areas to enjoy the birds, wildlife and stunning vistas. We really enjoyed cooking in her well-equipped and spacious kitchen, as this home is out-of-the-way (wonderfully) and restaurants are not within a walking distance. While staying here, we spent a lot of time at Playa La Boquilla and Playa Del Muertos, both wonderfully swimmable beaches, and many times we were the only people on the beach. This home was exactly what we wanted: peaceful, quiet, chill, spacious and comfortable. We became quite attached to it, and would love to return soon. Rory & Maureen, Crescent Brach, BC, Canada

Chepe is a great host. House is exactly like pictures. A/C works great. Lots of traffic - noisy when sitting out front on balcony. Dogs barking at night. Cleaning staff were great and we always had drinking water. 2 ways to walk to the beach. Very easy to get taxi in front of air B&B or Colectivo (blue truck -riding in the box): to either go into town or to nearby towns. Chepe let us use chair & umbrella on the beach; which was very nice and handy. We enjoyed our stay,

If you don't mind traffic noise, it is a perfect house for exploring the area. Personally, I would have built the house on the south side of the hill, 30' in the opposite direction. As it was, there were two good restaurants right across the road. The house was spacious and comfortable. I found the upstairs bed to be the most comfortable. It's about 15 minutes to the nearest beaches. My favorite was Playa Salchi, a small beach with limited parking, no stores or restaurants, and with reasonable waves in the center in order to enter and swim. I usually parked around the abandoned white hotel on the corner.
