Enjoyed our stay at Victoria's. You should know that the place is far from Puerto Viejo. We had our rental car but to avoid driving at night and to enjoy the liveliness of the city in the evening, we used the services of a Tuk Tuk recommended by Victoria and it was great! The construction of the Caninas is lovely, romantic and functional In addition, Victoria was very accommodating in resolving an organizational problem.

I loved everything. The apartment had everything I needed and I liked how it was decorated. I felt right at home and did not want to leave. The kitchen was perfect for preparing a meal and the bed was comfy. It was very peaceful and the garden is lovely with lots of animals. There was a table and chairs outside my room where I could have my meals while enjoying the garden. The host family were very welcoming and friendly and always ready to help. A 1 minute walk to the beach and 5 or so minutes to the township. As a single woman I felt very very safe. I caught the MEPE bus from San Jose and it dropped me off in front of the apartment.

Amazing place to stay! Xelo and Gianni are fantastic hosts. Great location close to PV but also quiet and relaxing by Playa Negra. Perfect combination.
