Monthly Rentals in Playa Blanca

We had a nice stay at Bernarda’s place! She was very responsive as we planned our arrival. The description of the place is accurate. We appreciated the fresh fruit and coffee that was available. There were also beach supplies including chairs, a beach bag, snorkeling gear, and beach towels. She even had laundry detergent! The Punta Leona complex is very large and the Leonamar apartments are quite far from the entrance, it takes about 12 minutes driving to get out onto the main road. Within the Punta Leona grounds, there are plenty of amenities but just know if you’re planning to venture further out, it will take a while! Our group had an injury (that happened after booking) that made walking difficult so we did not use the amenities as we would have otherwise. Within the Punta Leona complex, this apartment is situated closest to the beautiful playa Blanca and the playa mantas, both of which we enjoyed greatly! The view from the pool attached to the apartment complex is also stunning

This was one of the best rentals that we ever had. The apartment is gorgeous with great views and right at the beach. The pool is lovely as well. Thanks to other reviews, we did some grocery shopping before we arrived so that we did not have to leave during our 3 night stay. We did eat at the restaurant one afternoon and it was good. We hope to return one day soon. Thanks to Jose and his wonderful hosting.

My wife and I stayed at Marcela’s place for a week at the end of February. It’s an excellent and very safe spot! The beach is beautiful, with white sand and great snorkeling spots. Private access to the beach was a big plus! The location is perfect—safe and very close to Jaco if you enjoy a lively town atmosphere, as well as Herradura Bay if you have an early morning fishing trip. Algarete is a great restaurant to visit, just a five-minute drive away. The people, both around the area and at the beach, were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

This was the second time for us in Costa Rica, albeit a different area, and it certainly did not disappoint. We found the villa not only beautifully decorated but extremely comfortable and very well appointed even down to small details like binoculars; they really have thought of everything to make a stay feel like home. The air conditioning was very efficient, the huge bed super comfy and the wifi was brilliant without a bleep during the whole stay. The views from the balcony were great: watching the pelicans flying in formation and the humming birds darting about. Scarlett Macaws are everywhere you look often landing in the tree closest to the balcony along with other visitors like the capuchin monkeys, iguanas and the comical resident vultures. It's all going on here and we loved it! A great location close to Reserves, restaurants, beaches and wonderful vistas. We discovered Pops amazing ice cream and will be back for more. A big thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us.
