A very quiet getaway, felt private and spacious. The stairs to the second floor (bedrooms) require good mobility. The host is responsive and thinks along, even supplied a child bed on own initiative, we felt taken care of. We will memorise the forests full of chestnuts that one can grill outside the house on a bbq, the beautiful star night skies, natural pools and waterfalls close by and the breakfasts in the morning sun on the balcony. On a high mountain ridge lies a sleepy, archetypally French village, home to Edith’s place. This gives it fantastic views in both directions, towards Corsica’s highest peaks directly from the bedroom and balcony, and towards the sea and Italy from the road behind the house (I would recommend walking up to the cemetery from an incredible view all round). The village is small and quiet, a car is a must, and it does take some time to reach other places on the island as one has to ascend/descend the mountain every time. The place itself is an ideal size for two people. It has everything you need, and its own balcony and terrace with the view inland. Only the gate is shared with Edith, who lives the next house down. She was warm and friendly, and told us everything we needed to know for the visit and was happy to help. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

The place is beautiful and relaxing. Very nice to stay in the upper apartment. Everything is designed to make you feel good (breakfast ready for the next day), equipped and functional kitchen. Comfortable bedding. We'd definitely stay again. Sohana
