We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods, the perfect peaceful retreat from city life. The hot tub was such a treat in the evenings. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit too, and it was great that firewood was provided. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Two small things to note: the two doors facing the bed don’t have curtains, so it gets quite bright in the morning and feels a bit exposed, I found it a little uncomfortable. Also, the path leading up to the cabin was very muddy, so make sure you wear the right shoes. Overall, I would stay again, it was a great getaway, and we left feeling refreshed.

we loved our stay at Joule’s. The place was spacious and comfortable, we relaxed and were able to feel fairly at home. It rained the majority of our stay, and so the hot tub was especially enjoyed with being a perfect way to be outside during a drizzle. The kitchen was equipped for cooking meals, the beds were comfy, and Sechelt was a pleasure! We enjoyed a few trails nearby. Would recommend staying at Joule’s place for a Sunshine Coast getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nicole’s. The house was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach and into town. Nicole frequently checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and we made many meals there. We look forward to returning!

This independent dwelling is in a resort community with multiple small houses on small land. The location beside a beautiful park is good. We did a day trip to Tofino; the driving is long. Though we never met Judy, she provided everything which is required and there is a well-stocked kitchen for cooking dinner. I recommend unconditionally.

This was an incredible space for our family to spend time together during the holidays. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach with incredible views! We saw seals each time we visited the beach. The house was very clean, modern and comfortable. We loved having enough bedrooms for each of our children to have their own space and the common spaces were large and comfortable for everyone as well. Loved it!

We had a family bday get together here. It was perfect, Hugh and Deb added a "Happy birthday" banner and cake in fridge, what a special extra touch! We had 3 fabulous nights and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet spot in Nanaimo. Hot tub was super bonus!

Beautiful tiny home in a great rural area but also close to downtown Courtenay. We loved the high ceilings and light you get in the cabin. Had a small hiccup during our stay but the hosts were quick to respond and correct the issue. Would stay again. Thanks!

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. There was a small issue with the heating but he was very responsive and did his best to solve the problem. The cottage had everything you need to cook a family meal and a fire that heats up the whole living space. Overall it was a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend.

We had amazing stay at Christi and Jason's! There is everything you need for a cozy stay, AND the view of the ocean and mountains is spectacular. We got lucky with the weather too, so everything was extra good. They gave us great recommendations on where to go around the area and we'd definitely come back.

Alison’s place is old but spacious and well situated with a very nice view and a quiet neighborhood. The amount of utensils, pans, cutlery, plates, glasses etc. were far better than most Airbnb’s, plenty of everything. The washer and dryer were much appreciated. There is a TV but you need your own input device. That said I’d certainly stay there again.

This was mine and my wife’s first time away since we welcomed our baby in January. We asked my parents to join as well. We wanted something relaxing and that had all that we needed. And this stay couldn’t have been any better. It was exactly what we needed. It fit all 5 adults perfectly. It was clean and private. The view of the inlet was spectacular. We will 100% be coming back!

We had a lovely stay at Christina's place for a weekend getaway. It was so charming and everything was as described and pictured. The location was perfect to get to the water or to trails in under 10 minutes by car. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome chocolates and the cream and sparkling water available for us in the fridge. We hope to come back in the summer!

We were looking for a quiet, cozy place to stay. Rachel’s place exceeded our expectations. After some unexpected travel delays coming the East Coast, we inquired about an additional night. Rachel was super helpful with extending our stay. We really appreciated her help with that. We would definitely stay again.

Booked a weekend away with some girlfriends and we were beyond happy with Louise's place! It was a stunning location, very peaceful but nearby everything we wanted to do. The home itself was gorgeous, and provided lots of amenities. Louise was also sooo responsive! I couldn't recommend her place enough. Thank you!

Gail’s cottage was an incredibly warm and welcoming place to stay. She is thoughtful about every part of the cottage with lovely decor, comfortable bedding, and a very clean space. The incredible beach was just a short walk away. She was so friendly and responsive to all my questions, I can’t wait to come back!

The Guesthouse location was fantastic. Martin was a friendly and very helpful host, even lending use of his canoes for exploring Sproat Lake. The house itself was also fantastic, with loads of space and everything you need. Space to eat and relax outside in the lovely surroundings was lovely. Would definitely recommend.

My family had a great stay at Louise’s cottage. Easy to find and really lovely layout. The kids were excited to sleep in the loft bedroom on the second level and I was pleased there was a door to the bedroom to keep noise out in the evenings! The other two bedrooms on the main level are very comfortable and far apart from each other. There’s a small backyard off the deck, a rustic bridge over a stream and then Little Trib beach. We had a blast going to and from easily during our stay and knew ahead of time that the beach is considered “clothing optional” but Louise was kind enough to add this detail into our checking in information among some other helpful facts. We didn’t have any issues while we were in the cabin and felt all the details were thought of including everything you’d need to start a fire in the wood stove. We would absolutely stay again!

The cottage was right on the water with a beautiful view. The large windows made the space feel big and provided an unobstructed view of the water. We saw birds, ducks, and seals!!!! The host was very friendly and responsive and took care of everything we needed right away. We would highly recommend!
