A stay beyond our expectations. We were lucky enough to stay in the large and very comfortable room that Abdelkader reserves for hosts in the super earthen house he lives in Tikirte, a village full of charm. But it is Abdelkader above all but also mama Fatima, Khadija and the other people of the family and neighbors that we met who made this stay exceptional. We felt like we were integrated. Abdelkader picked us up when we arrived, we took advantage of his skills as a cook, guide and many more that I let you discover. I can just guarantee that anyone looking to listen and discover can only be delighted with the welcome they will receive in Tikirte. In short, we only ask one question now: when do we go back?

Mohamed is a very warm host who will give you very useful advice for the rest of your trip. Special mention for the kitchen: everything is homemade! From dates to goat cheeses to aperitif cookies. Don't hesitate, it's still one of the few traditional kasbahs in Skoura.
