Beachfront vacation rentals in Otama

The home was very clean and spacious! There was lots of seating and the furniture and beds were very comfortable! The property is fully fenced which was helpful for us to let our two small dogs out the truck for a stretch. The home is located only a very short drive away to Stirling point. My kids enjoyed the bath! Christine had great communication and was very kind and understanding. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and will book again if we plan to come back to Bluff!

A gorgeous little bach by the sea. The photos don't do it justice! Loved staying with my family. The kids thought the sleeping set up and movie room were awesome. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing! My stay at Gloria's was an absolute delight! It felt like visiting that one cool aunt everyone wishes they had. Gloria is a natural host, offering warmth, understanding, and helpfulness, making conversation with her a true pleasure. She put me at ease from the start, making me feel welcome every moment. Her home has a wonderful atmosphere, clearly enjoying the company of guests. The adorable black cat was a bonus, showering me with affection. As a solo traveler, such interactions were a godsend. Her home was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bedroom was also exceptionally well-equipped, with everything I needed readily available The surroundings were breathtaking, with fantastic hiking trails and the exceptional Oyster Cove restaurant serving the best oysters I've ever tasted! As I departed, Gloria called out from the window, reminding me I'd left my phone charger – a touching gesture that felt like a warm farewell from family. I hope to return one day!!

This is a nice tidy comfortable little unit. Close to shops, dining and Marae. This was the second time we've stayed, and we'll happily stay again.

Cheryl’s home is absolutely fantastic, the location is unbeatable, right on the beach front. The house is brand new and gorgeous and has everything you need. Beautiful views, comfortable beds, a wonderful kitchen and great outdoor space. Cheryl was so friendly and welcoming and helped us with anything we needed. Highly recommend if you want a fantastic stay on the coast.

What an amazing host. From first to last interaction I felt welcomed and valued. The house is exactly as described, in a perfect location with a restaurant/bar a 2 minute walk away. There's kayaks available to use for a donation towards wear and tear. As shore dwellers we loved looking for special stones. Gemstone beach is 20min drive but another 20min to Blue Cliff beach and you'll find amazing quartz stones, shell fossils. Wakapatu beach had paua and other large shells along the high tide line. Stop at the café in Oreputi for the best cheese & onion scones and great coffee. Loads of nature walks in area. House is peaceful, & we did see Hector's dolphins from the deck, swimming with a kayaker which was awesome.The waves breaking on the rocks literally across the road was soothing to the soul. Beautiful sunrises as well. Strange point of interest is the fork stuck in the power pole/street sign. Great water pressure in shower, weber BBQ, logburner, fresh mussels from sea. Fabulous!

Philippa is an amazing host, super responsive and helpful. Her place was a perfect base to explore lake Wakatipu and the area. The house is super nice with a lot of character. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub very much and Philippa was so nice to explain how to use it. We enjoyed our stay!

Me and friends had the best stay, being right on the beach was exactly what we needed! Had everything we needed, we all loved that it had a fire pit plus beautiful views of the sea! Will definitely come stay again!! Was quite an old place but made it more homely we were outside most the time as the weather really out it on for us! But love an old batch/crib! Thanks again

This is an incredible place to stay! Got it last minute and feel really lucky. It has a beautiful ocean vibe to it, with stunning ocean art and paintings. Beds are huge and super comfortable, the location is peaceful with friendly neighbours, host is lovely and really responsive, and it’s a two minute walk to a little beach! Couldn’t recommend this place more and it’s a true bargain. Perfect stay.

This was such a wonderful spot to relax and unwind with our family. We enjoyed the beach, playground and hike up shirt tail track. Both the corner cafe and flyer cafe were great. If you don’t want to be I. The craziness of Queenstown but want to make day excursions there from a beautiful and tranquil spot, this is it. Just be prepared, the water is COLD!

We had a wonderful time at Julie’s place. We will definitely come back! 100% recommended
