Vacation rentals in Ocean View

Everything was great! Walking distance to the beach, great ocean view. We were lucky enough to see whales and dolphins from the balcony! The place was clean and had everything we needed to make our selves at home and cook a few meals at home. Highly recommend!

The house was gorgeous, it matched the pictures and descriptions perfectly. At night it was very peaceful and just the most beautiful views every morning. My wife and I loved that it was so close to the best snorkeling that we've ever done and if you didn't want to do the hike to get to it there's plenty of rentable kayaks nearby. We also managed to see a mama humpback whale and her calf in the bay while we were relaxing on the lanai. Last thing I'll say is that the house was close to alot of local food places that all are highly recommended. When I plan my next trip to the Big Island I will definitely be looking to stay at this house again.

The common areas and master suite were very spacious. Huge comfortable couch. The porch was beautiful and relaxing. Within walking distance to Magic Sands Beach, although possibly closer to 10 minutes depending on your pace. Checkout instructions were a breeze. Very comfortable for our 5 guests, everyone had a bed. Perfect distance from center of Kona but felt out of the way and very peaceful. I would absolutely book here again if I ever return!

We had a great stay at Magic sands hosted by Sam and Connie! It is close enough to shops and restaurants but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. It had all the amenities listed and was clean. The beach next door was nice but on the smaller side at least when we were there late Feb/early March. It can get a little noisy with traffic and people walking by the unit as the door and window in the bathroom are louvered because there is no AC, but it was not excessive. Overall we had a great stay!

We had an amazing time staying with Charles. I was worried about the amount of privacy with the shared grounds but found it to be very private and enjoyable. We used the pool and BBQ several times with no issue or run in with other guests. The road down is very steep, make sure to get a good vehicle that can handle the climb in and out of the property. The road is well maintained and we had no issue. We arrived to fresh fruit and used the kitchen daily with no issues. Lots of information provided on local events and sights to see. The hosts even shared their favorite stops on the way to Volcano. Location was ideal for heading to black sand, green sand, volcano and Kona. Beds were comfortable and space was larger than we expected. We look forward to returning in the future.

What an absolute blessing of a stay. A complete Gem of a place to stay AND a host. We couldn't be happier with where we were and how it felt to be there. Truly felt like home. Her kindness and generosity is unparalleled and anyone lucky enough to stay here should consider themselves blessed. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for home away from home.

We absolutely loved our stay! Out of all the places we have stayed in, Dani’s place stands out at the top of our list.The place was really clean and well decorated has everything you need to feel at home. The view from the Lanai was a highlight! We were able to watch whales regularly, spinner dolphins daily, a good variety of colourful reef fish and spectacular sunsets. If you’re going to Kona, this would be an excellent place to stay. Aloha

The home was very clean and well organized and had everything we needed. The location was great and was close to the beach, Walmart, Costco and restaurants. Keisha was very helpful and she was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would love to return and stay at Keisha’s place again!

My husband and I loved our time at Nancy’s condo. The place was clean, very comfortable bed, fully stocked and nicely decorated. We slept great every night. The location was very accessible to walk to restaurants, shops and beaches. Nancy was very easy to get ahold of and always friendly. She was flexible in letting us check in early which was so nice to be able to arrive and go straight to the condo instead of waiting. We can’t wait to plan our next trip to Kona.
